Loved them when they opened for Tedeschi-Trucks, so I was really excited when I heard they were coming back. They did not disappoint! They go on my list of Music That Is Guaranteed to Pick Me Up No Matter What. I bought their new album the next day, because I couldn't stop singing "I'm Gonna Fill My Heart With Love Until it Almost Breaks My Heart." And I still haven't stopped.
Awesome high energy performance. Great vocal harmonies. Large well synchronized sound. Very smooth professional act. Would see them again.
The venue is cool, fun stuff all around the neighborhood. The band, Spirit Family Reunion, is amazing. They are cool and fun at the same time! I can't say enough about the guy playing the washboard! I was mesmerized! All in all, Spirit Family Reunion is a band that everyone can enjoy. You will leave wanting more!
There is absolutely no way that you won't dance when the Spirit Family is on stage...or at least tap your feet and grin wildly...wait unless you are paralyzed, or dead. Sorry if you're dead. If not, see this band and feel their lovely 'old time mountainside folk'? as soon as possible!
Show was incredible. went to see Spirit Family Reunion, and was pleasantly surprised to also love the 2 openers! So great when you can enjoy the whole thing. Hurray for the Riff Raff have a great sound - singer's voice is incredible. Loved the energy in the room all night. Sinclair venue in harvard sq is awesome - great space, and clean bathrooms!
This was my first time at The Sinclair. Awesome show at a really cool venue. Highly recommended.

Spirit Family Reunion put on the greatest folk show I have seen in New York City so far. Beautiful harmonizing, wild energy and a wonderful charisma. Even though there wasn't that much space, the entire crowd was dancing and stomping to the beat.
