Rob Zombie Rocked! Slayer Was OK

by ScottNSeattle on 9/19/11WaMu Theater - Seattle

I had an OK time (aside from all the standing around). My biggest issue was with the rampant drug use, and intoxicated fans which I do not feel the staff did enough to curtail. The behavior of too many of the other attendees was out of control and little was done to rein it in.

    Zombie Slayer!!!

by Yesmar on 8/25/11WaMu Theater - Seattle

One of the best shows I've ever been to in my life! Rob Zombie had an amazing stage show and Slayer couldn't be tighter. The crowd was cool and the security they had working were amazing.

    by CAMPER666 on 8/19/11Sovereign Center - Reading

Rob Zombie stole the show it was his best porformance I've seen. Exadus was was pretty awesome my first time seeing them. Slayer was great they are never less than great. However I've seen Slayer many times and this was not their best performance. I am still grateful they played in PA. and will be looking forward to seeing them on their next tour. METAL FOR LIFE!!!!!!

Stricken by the force of evil light!

by PsychoMyko on 8/12/11WaMu Theater - Seattle

Went primarily for Slayer and Exodus. Very surprised by Rob Zombie, for he was not very good when I have seem him live before. Exodus tore down the WAMU combining new stuff with their classics (Bonded By Blood!!!) - this is the first time I have seen them with Rob Dukes, and he definitely delivered. Rob Zombie had an amazing stage show. Good selection of tunes and he had the crowd pumped from start to finish. What can be said about Slayer that hasn't been said before? So glad they brought back such killer songs such as Chemical Warfare. Gary Holt (guitar) from Exodus did an excellent job for Jeff Hanneman and Tom Araya (bass / vocals) hasn't sound this good in a very long time. Excellent Show!

Rob Zombie's visuals and performance was good, however they did not really sound at all like their music. Slayer was pretty good, however lacked visual aesthetics.

The concert was the best have been to in a long time. My older brother and I had a blast especially when slayer came out. I took some great pictures even though I wasnt close the pics look like I was front stage. i would recommend this even to all my friends when they come back to seattle again.
