    S. Carey is by far and away my favorite singer/songwriter. Getting to see him in this small venue was priceless. His ethereal music was perfect for this intimate setting. Sean took the time to hang around after the show and talk to everyone who wanted to meet him and get pics and autographs. I left with an arm load of merch. I drove 9 hours from Dallas to see the show and it was worth every mile! I kinda wish the set had been a bit longer but I wasn’t at all disappointed. If there was anything I would have critiqued it would be the board operator who let reverb make many lyrics unintelligible. (I knew them all by heart anyway so I sucked it up! ) There was also an audible hum in Courtney’s guitar pick up that should have been fixed by the sound person. Other than those small issues it was a perfect evening and I would recommend that no one miss a chance to see this amazing artist.

    The intimate venue setting made S.Carey's performance all the more impactful. The band was tight and sounded even better live in my opinion! Such a beautiful new album!

    This concert was absolutely amazing. The Daredevil Christopher Wright was spot on with their intricate harmonies. They should be recognized more in the Twin Cities! S. Carey definitely had their own unique music style...I recommend these bands to everyone. The Varsity Theater itself is full of character and ambiance...check it!
