About

Riz La Vie on Tour

New York City-based singer/songwriter Riz La Vie adeptly combines elements of indie rock, electronic music and R&B. With fresh lyrical phrasing and creative and evocative videos, La Vie is a second-generation Lebanese American raised in New Jersey who has had a passion for music for as long as he can remember.

Bursting onto the scene in 2017, he independently released two five-track EPs, Found. and Keep. The emotive and insightful track "Napkins" took off and received more than 1 million plays on streaming services shortly after it was released and has now eclipsed 37 million streams, followed by the popular tracks "Tesla" and "She Said" from the 2020 EP Feed.

Believing that music is one of the best ways to explore universal truths, La Vie has headlined major festivals, including Lollapalooza and Governors Ball. Don't miss the chance to see this rising artist live on his upcoming headlining tour when he comes to a town near you.

Riz La Vie Live in Concert

Growing up in New Jersey, Riz La Vie started exploring music at a very young age, taking part in the school band and choir. As an adolescent he entertained thoughts of pursuing a career in law until he realized that music was his main passion.

La Vie's mother was a Lebanese immigrant who encouraged the exploration of spirituality and mysticism, which obviously found its way into La Vie's ambitious and philosophical lyrics.

With a family who was very supportive of his music, La Vie began writing his own songs, inspired by Lil Wayne among others. His first foray into releasing his own music was with the 2017 EP Found. He went on to release a series of EPs, an album that was also called Found. and singles including the tracks "Hot Rod," "Napkins" and "She Said."

La Vie's 2020 EP, Feed, came out during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and the Black Lives Matter movement, and focuses on the singer's own "personal revolution." His deep and spiritual lyrics inspire self-reflection in listeners and his live shows take fans to a whole new level.

    Interesting Experience...

    by E on 3/5/23The Foundry - Philadelphia

Riz La Vie's concert was a fun and interesting experience. I really liked the opening act Johan Lenox because I've listened to his songs since 2017 and his performance was amazing but when Riz La Vie came on I could barely hear his voice over the music, he was very pitchy, and he needs to work on his performance overall. It didn't seem professional whatsoever and that's why I give it a 2 star rating!

Riz La Vie was amazing and his opening acts were too. The show started a bit later than expected, but the performance was 12/10.
