Retrograded Tickets

Retrograded (Jackson Klarsfeld) is a 21 year old producer, singer, and songwriter based in New York. Klarsfeld grew up in Monterey, California, and moved to Poughkeepsie, New York in 2017. He got his start in music with his move to film school, making little songs for music videos in his dorm room. His friends first started to notice his aptitude for songwriting with the release of Spaceship Boy in 2019, when he found himself on the front of the school paper. As his production skills improved, his music became more and more prevalent in his life. Over the course of his third year of school Retrograded wrote and produced Red Lights at Midnight, to be released in April of 2020. From song one to song seven, the album covers the ups and down and the growth he experienced during those few months. Jackson received overwhelmingly positive feedback from his friends with the release of the album, which eventually amassed over 100,000 streams, primarily due to the third track, Hi I Miss You, which just hit 100k by itself.

Heavily inspired by the works of EDEN, Verzache, Chelsea Cutler, Jeremy Zucker, Cavetown, and The 1975, Jackson found music to be an escape from the scary parts of everyday life. With Retrograded, he hopes to help others the way his favorite artists help him.
