You all double sold one of our tickets so someone had a ticket to one of our seats. It was pretty awkward and we don't really understand how that even happens. In general things seem pretty chaotic. Bands were good.
Lineup was great, I was there mostly for LCD Soundsystem but all of the acts were really fun and I was super impressed by some of them. The crowd was really into it, the staff was nice, the venue is cool too. It is a little far from everything and transit isn’t great but still an awesome experience.
I went to MPP in DMV to see James Blake. loved the venue and how it was organised. So perfect. The re:set all was a huge help. Keep doing the good work❤️
I loved it!!! My partner and I are LCD Soundsytem fans, so thats what roped us in. Ive seen Phish once at Merriweather which is what led me to choose that venue over the Columbia shows. I'm so glad we did. Everyone was great. The skylawn is awesome. We were able to move around and dance without disturbing anyone. Id definitely go back for more shows. Id definitely go see other artists i wouldve have before re:set
Having been to Merriweather concerts where the sound was terrible I must say that despite all the electronics that LCD Soundsystem is know for - the sound - and thus the music - was incredible. The crowd were on their feet the entire set and everyone seemed to be having a good time. Wish there was less smoking allowed in the pavilion. I'm all for people having a good time but I'm allergic to smoke - of any kind!
Boy Genius / Steve Lacy / and LCD Soundsystem were terrific! Loved the festival atmosphere and getting introduced to the variety of acts - Merriweather is such a great venue - totally loved the Re:set weekend!
Only did night 3 and it was a blast. Merriweather Post Pavillion was clean, accessible, friendly staff and made the experience great.
Overall a good experience concert wise, but could be run much better. Parking was a mess. Wasn’t really much information until the day of regarding parking and set times. Felt like volunteers were put into to tough of a position because nobody checked my bag at the door which didn’t make me feel safe. Also saw people jumping over the lawn to get into the pavilion which i get it but still kinda sucked seeing that. The whole seating arraignment for the general pavilion felt weird because they’re was too many people on the lawn but the pavilion felt empty. Also still mad that the price that i paid was $30 more than the final price closer to the day of the set. But overall it was a decent concert experience.
The boys killed it, best show i’ve ever seen. Claire, Dijon, and Bartees Strange were also phenomenal
