Concert was great. Ticket purchase wasn't.

by Dr_Do-Little on 12/6/22Crystal Ballroom at Somerville Theatre - Somerville

Love the concert. Didn't like the ticket purchase experience. I ordered them by mail. Because I wanted to have them in hand for the border crossing. Never received the tickets. When I ask for help / information a month after purchase I was told they probably were not printed / sent yet. Ten days before the event I was told they were mailed 2 days after purchase and to wait 48 hours before the event. Finally had them switch to "will call" at the last minute. I think part of the issue is because ticketmaster site can't handle accentuated letters. Had my name totally messed up and I guess it was the same with Montréal. Even though the postal code should had this sorted out.

The band was soothing, and the venue was soothing. I can't wait to return.

Loved the performance of Reina Del Cid in Somerville.

by SteveG on 12/5/22Crystal Ballroom at Somerville Theatre - Somerville

We loved the performance of Reina Del Cid in Somerville. Ticket handling was perfect - the show was rescheduled and this turned out to be no problem. We used the same "wallet" for the rescheduled event and were very pleased that we had the same seats as originally booked. The performers were exactly what we hoped for - two excellent musicians playing original beautifully written songs. I hope to see them again at hopefully a larger site when they hit it big!!

    Great and Talented!

    by Reina Rules on 8/31/22

I've been a huge fan from when she and Toni first started posting on You Tube. I have seen her perform in Austin with the Other Favorites and in Cambridge at the Middle East Club in 2019. If you decide to go see her and the band in Somerville you will not be disappointed. I certainly will be there.

Reina Del Cid @ Ophelia's Electric Soapbox 08/11/22

by GillyGil on 8/17/22Ophelia's Electric Soapbox - Denver

The show was exhilarating. Rachel and Toni spent quite a bit of beautiful output. The more they gave, the more the crowd returned to them. Toni can play those guitars like nobody's business. Toni trekked across genres with crowd pleasing grace and style. Rachel's voice was clear and strong. That Rachel can write a great song. (Can't help but rhyme) The bass player and the drummer were most excellent. Morse Code was soulful. I felt that pain. There is something about that double negative that is visceral. Bernadette was a great throw back to early shades of brilliance that had the entire crowd singing along. This One's Gonna Hurt rocked the place. But, the rock-out of the evening went to Woolf. Reina Del Cid does have the whole crowd interaction thing down. Rachel invited the audience to sing along on Jambalaya and Mercedes Benz. Everybody in the place was a rock star. The wait staff was boppin' right along. Dancing started with individuals just moving with the inexorable beats and enticing melodic energy. Then, it spread as the band ran down a valid rendition of Tennessee Waltz. Two danced and then the floor was filled. One of Reina Del Cid's most recent offerings blew the place away. Reina spoke briefly of their recent trip to New Mexico. Then, they played Roswell. Did I intimate that that young lady can write a song? Oh man. Of course, this is not a chronological listing of the set and encore. The sound for Reina Del Cid was mixed perfectly. I drove back to the Airbnb all a natural buzz. I didn't fall asleep for hours. It was well worth the thousand mile drive. Those people are the real deal.
