    Ramblin' Jack's still got it!

by marbil on 10/2/10Bethel Woods Center for the Arts - Bethel

His tongue-in-cheek, low key humor are just the icing on the cake during a Jack Elliot concert. He still picks that guitar and sings (croaks?) the songs like back in the day. He's a legend and we're so glad we got to see him in the intimate and beautiful venue at Bethel Woods.

    Elliott keeps ramblin' on

by gjvk on 9/28/10Bethel Woods Center for the Arts - Bethel

Great performance by this folk art icon, who still can bring it - both vocally and on the guitar. Singing songs by -and telling stories about his encounters with - Woody Guthry and Bob Dylan, he managed to keep me on the edge of my seat for the duration of the two sets. The beautiful and intimate setting of the Bethel Woods indoor performance space contributed greatly to what I see as a meeting with folk art history that I will never forget.

    Ramblin Jack

by fishback on 9/28/10Bethel Woods Center for the Arts - Bethel

Hi, Ramblin JAck Eliot was superb, the real deal. i didn't think he would be so original, funny and entertaining, too. His music skills were great, and his stories of the old folk-singers were amazing . The venue was gorgeous . I can't wait to go there again for another concert!!

I was determined to see this legend while I could, and am not disappointed. He's delightful, both as a storyteller and musician.
