Talent, beautiful costums, enchanting music! Loved to see all the ages of children during this presentation. So many young children enjoying themselves between the generations of family.
We loved the performance! Everyone danced and performed beautifully! My niece was in it and she had so much fun! We have one suggestion…it would have been nice to know the performers were going to be in the lobby area after the show! It really made things quite congested because of people coming in and leaving plus trying to get to your performer. We suggest they be up by the stage so anyone want to see them can and the other foot traffic can disperse. But really it was a wonderful show!!!

I've been to The Nutcracker Fort Wayne Ballet at least 10 times over the last 20 years. I've never been disappointed. The choreography was well coordinated w/ the Tchaikovsky music and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I think it's a holiday must see and a great girls night out or a date night.
My husband and I attended the Saturday afternoon performance of The Nutcracker to watch our 4-year-old granddaughter dance the role of “Baby Mouse.” We were both expecting to enjoy a very good student performance. What we, in fact, experienced left us absolutely breathless. Everything - the costumes, the staging and, yes, the dancers - rendered us positively awestruck! Never could I have imagined seeing STUDENT performers who were both magnificent dancers but also who exhibited such mature stage presence. They captured our imagination and our hearts. Simply beautiful. And, yes, the Baby Mouse we came to see was darling!

I thought everything was great but where was the ending? Why did Claire not wake up from her dream?
What a wonderful display of hard work and talent, structure and great leadership. I was so proud of everyone in the Saturday performance. Beautiful work to all.
It was actually a school performance and it was not advertised as such. Although there were several talented young dancers, many traditional roles were missing or cut down to fit the student dancers abilities. There were no other adult dancers except the gentlemen that performed as Drosselmeyer. Very basic décor. Not at all what we were expected.
