About

PRETTYMUCH In Concert

PRETTYMUCH may have been assembled by renowned music impresario Simon Cowell, but the so-called boy band is much more than just a studio creation. In fact, it's on a stage performing live that the full picture of what they do really comes into focus. For a group that has spent as much time working on its dance moves as its music, it's crucial for them to be able to put all that careful choreography in front of an audience. And when the quintet hit the stage, they bring those moves to bear in a show that's all about everyone in the room having as much fun as possible. A PRETTYMUCH performance ends up being as much a party as a concert—the group's fans are there to revel in the ecstatic, youthful vibe, to commune with their fellow PRETTYMUCH obsessives, and of course, to soak up the group's signature blend of pop and R&B. Their 2018 fall Funktion Tour across America is a perfect example of the portable party PRETTYMUCH brings with them wherever they go.

PRETTYMUCH Background

Brandon Arreaga, Edwin Honoret, Nick Mara, Austin Porter, and Zion Kuwonu all came from different parts of the country, but they were joined together in Los Angeles by superproducer Simon Cowell, the reality TV icon and boy band kingmaker. In 2016, the five young performers became PRETTYMUCH, a group dedicated to the idea of picking up where previous Cowell projects like One Direction and Westlife left off. After woodshedding their songs and their choreography, the group started to earn a following by posting videos on social media featuring their cover versions of tunes by such artists as Childish Gambino and Charlie Puth, and their dancing to music by the likes of Bruno Mars and Michael Jackson. The group released its first single, "Would You Mind," in 2017, followed by ‘PRETTYMUCH An EP' in the spring of 2018. That summer brought the appearance of their Ed Sheeran-penned single, "Summer on You."

    Loved it

    by Alexandria N on 7/11/21

The experience over all was so good and I was 5 weeks post shoulder surgery. The venue was spacious where it needed to be but still small enough that no matter where I was I could see them very very well. I love them and their music. Their stage presence is captivating and I wasn't ever bored or waiting for the next song. Amazing performers and voices. Best day I had.

    UMM...WOW!!!! 😍😍

    by Alex on 6/19/20

Other than the fact that the bass was super loud and we stood out in the heat for 2 hours, the concert was AMAZING!!!! Kenzie did get more time on stage than the boys, but once the boys came out, it was 110% worth it! I couldn’t be more excited to say that I’m definitely going to try and go every year now! AMAZING JOB, BOYS! ♥️♥️

    Exhilarating

by MonĂŠ on 1/11/20The Met Philadelphia - Philadelphia

I had a lot of fun and there were definitely some things that hadn’t gone my way before arriving at the venue. There were a few people who made us a little behind schedule and I was worried we would come late. Thankfully, I had purchased fast pass tickets. I didn’t get to meet them because I realized they were going on tour after M&G tickets/VIP had been sold out. Anyways disregarding that fact the bag check and entry ran smooth which I’m glad because my social anxiety gets hectic in places such as concerts. Not to mention the security guards (the one who stood at the ends of the stage) not sure of the proper terminology but they were so nice and one had even offered me and my friends some water bottles because I was on the barricade with a lot of other people and had gotten pretty dehydrated. The only setback was that there were a bunch of people waiting by the gates after the show to potentially see PRETTYMUCH (mind you they had come outside to greet fans previous shows before ours so of course expectations were high). In summary, a man who had worked there kept yelling at teens telling them to go home and that they wouldn’t be outside and threatening to call the cops. There was just a lot of unecessary commotion on his part. I feel as though had he handled the situation better he would’ve received more cooperation. Disregarding that my experience was great and I definitely would do it again in the future.

    Wonderful

by Dina on 8/26/19The Masonic - San Francisco

The entire experience was fun for my daughter. I think they need better control of the crowds on the floor. My daughter had the VIP tickets so got in before general admission and she was front row until people all filled in and pushed their way through and then she ended up like 6 row from the stage. So VIP ticket holders should have an area roped off for them then general admission behind that. Not fair for you to pay a more expensive ticket to end up far away from the stage. Also I don't why us parents could not see our kids take pictures with the group, that is a memory for us parents as well to get to see our kids reactions of excitement. But overall venue was nice and spacious and had great service.

    Amazing

by CS5 on 8/20/19Fillmore Auditorium (Denver) - Denver

Didn't know what to expect about the venue. This was our first time at the Fillmore and it was great! They had water and a porta-potty outside for waiting in line. They also had big Gatorade water stations with cups inside the venue for free. Prettymuch was amazing in concert!!!!
