Rising rapper and R&B singer Post Malone hit pay dirt in 2015 with his hugely popular breakout single "White Iverson," a Top 3 jam on the Hot Rap Songs chart that has racked up more than 200 million views on YouTube. Since then he's made good on the promise of that auspicious debut, generating major buzz with his 2016 mixtape August 26th and hitting the road for the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour Presents: Post Malone The Hollywood Dreams Tour. In concert Malone's excitement and passion are palpable, and his rapid-fire flow, bass-heavy beats, and infectious dancing always get fans moving their feet. He slayed in early 2016 as an opening act on Justin Bieber's Purpose World Tour, and followed up with killer headlining sets of his own in support of his much-anticipated debut album Stoney.
Post Malone in Concert
Austin Richard Post, aka Post Malone, was born in New York but spent his formative years in Dallas, TX. He taught himself to play guitar and produce music in high school, and at age 16 he became a local legend with his first independent mixtape release. He enrolled in a local community college after graduation, but dropped out after a few months to move to Los Angeles and pursue his music career. Once there he linked up with production team FKi Music, a fruitful collaboration that yielded several songs including "White Iverson." That track went viral in early 2015, racking up millions of plays on SoundCloud and YouTube and leading to a record deal with Republic Records. Malone's rise continued in 2016 with the release of his mixtape August 26th, his national TV debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and a collaboration single with Justin Bieber titled "Déjà Vu." His debut full-length Stoney generated big buzz in late 2016, and he continues to impress with swaggering, hit-filled sets on tour.

by Kari on 7/17/23Post Malone is a true artist. I’ve seen him before but this show is amazing. Bringing a live band with a string section took it to a whole other level. Posty’s energy is contagious and the crowd felt it too. I do have to say that the venue really has to do something about drainage. We had a downpour and it seemed like the water had nowhere to go. So many people waded through water to get to their cars and inside the venue seemed to be problematic too. I have heard this has been an issue at other times too. This really needs to be addressed. No one really minded getting rained on because the show was that good. But going to a parking lot where cars are literally flooded out is not ok.

by Russell on 7/17/23This is the 3rd Posty I’ve been to, and it has nothing to do with him. It just wasn’t a good experience. You could hardly hear him out in the lawn seating. The venue sold too many lawn seats so that people were forced to stand in the walking paths. I’d see him again just not at this venue.

by Aflem on 7/17/23The actual concert was AMAZING!!!! I loved the more intimate feel of the Ampitheatre. Post Malone was so entertaining and fun! Downside- the parking at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in St Louis is AWFUL!!!! It took 2 hours to get out of the venue. Staff seemed clueless on how to form lines to get out.

Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate and the show had to end early, it was a little scary getting out of the venue and the parking lot flooded which I’m sure messed up a lot of vehicles.

by Nothing but Love on 7/17/23First, I absolutely love Post Malone. His performance was great but maybe just a little bit too much auto-tune….. Arriving at the venue went smoothly but leaving was a different experience. During a torrential downpour, there was no traffic control to be found. Sat in same spot for about two hours trying to exit.

by Big mac on 7/17/23Having to wait over 2 hours to get out of a parking lot is absolutely unacceptable. I’ve been to big sporting events and haven’t waited that long. There needs to be better drainage at that Venue. The cars that got flooded out is ridiculous… someone needs to be held accountable. The concert with post Malone was cool but the venue sucks.

by DaByrdSki30 on 7/17/23Posty was great! Drove from KC, MO to the show day of. Venue was great. Lines weren't terrible, but also didn't wait in the merch lines. Show was great until it rained so hard it was a monsoon. The parking lot is terrible when it rains. Standing water everywhere. I stepped several times in a foot of water. There were other areas where it was 2-3 feet deep and some cars had to have water damage. I luckily was able to park somewhat close and get out fairly easily. However, others were not so lucky. A friend of mine was stuck in the parking lot for 2.5 hours after the show. Overall 4 stars, probably 5 if it doesn't rain.

by Maddie on 7/16/23This was my first concert & I had a great time. Post Malone put on an absolutely wonderful show, I most definitely will be seeing him again. My only complaints are with the venue, it would be very nice if they had water bottle fill up stations, along with misting stations. It was very hot the day of the Post Malone concert and having water & misting stations would have changed the game! Once again, it was still a great experience!
