About

Post Malone on Tour

Rising rapper and R&B singer Post Malone hit pay dirt in 2015 with his hugely popular breakout single "White Iverson," a Top 3 jam on the Hot Rap Songs chart that has racked up more than 200 million views on YouTube. Since then he's made good on the promise of that auspicious debut, generating major buzz with his 2016 mixtape August 26th and hitting the road for the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour Presents: Post Malone The Hollywood Dreams Tour. In concert Malone's excitement and passion are palpable, and his rapid-fire flow, bass-heavy beats, and infectious dancing always get fans moving their feet. He slayed in early 2016 as an opening act on Justin Bieber's Purpose World Tour, and followed up with killer headlining sets of his own in support of his much-anticipated debut album Stoney.

Post Malone in Concert

Austin Richard Post, aka Post Malone, was born in New York but spent his formative years in Dallas, TX. He taught himself to play guitar and produce music in high school, and at age 16 he became a local legend with his first independent mixtape release. He enrolled in a local community college after graduation, but dropped out after a few months to move to Los Angeles and pursue his music career. Once there he linked up with production team FKi Music, a fruitful collaboration that yielded several songs including "White Iverson." That track went viral in early 2015, racking up millions of plays on SoundCloud and YouTube and leading to a record deal with Republic Records. Malone's rise continued in 2016 with the release of his mixtape August 26th, his national TV debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and a collaboration single with Justin Bieber titled "Déjà Vu." His debut full-length Stoney generated big buzz in late 2016, and he continues to impress with swaggering, hit-filled sets on tour.

    Don't pay for early access

    by Kate on 8/23/23

As always, Post Malone is incredible!!!! Absolutely loved the show. My issue was the early access. There were maybe 50 people in the early access line, and we all did really well at respecting each other and keeping our line order. When it came time to be let into early access down to the pit, staff put on green wrist bands for early access and for general admission and when it came time to be let in, staff let both lines go, and then they realized what happened and called everyone back but a good chunk of the general admission blurred in with early access and when asked to show wrists for staff to see two wristbands not just the one, they just hid and scooted in. So a good chunk of us early access people did not get to be "center stage"when the 50 of us should have all been able to be next to each other lined up from the left side down through the middle easily but with all the people who cheated their way in a good 20 of us were only able to get to the right side of the stage. This was upsetting because we were maybe 20th in line so we would have been able to be where posty came after the show but instead were rushed out of the venue because he wasn't going to be coming over as far. And extra upsetting because once "early access"was through, staff was putting the green wristbands on guests one by one and they were let into the pit area. Definitely think that's how it should have been handled to begin with. Early access walked down the the pit entrance in order, then put green wristbands on, then let walk in pit. Not the cluster it was. Probably won't pay for VIP again at this venue when general admission was given out same opportunity due to poor organization.

Enjoyed Concert, But Bad Parking Situation

    by JCore on 8/23/23

Add more roads in and out of the of the venue. Not planning to come back unless that happens. Not safe if anything were to ever happen. It’s a bummer that the bad parking situation overshadowed the awesomeness of the concert.

    Very disappointed

    by Brae on 8/22/23

First off, parking was 100$. The venue was way over packed. Like unsafe. The most disappointing part was that post Malone didn’t even sound like himself. Even when he talked. Sounded way too electronic and high pitched. I don’t know if there was an issue the speakers or the microphone but I’ve watched several of his concerts and I have never heard him sound so different.

    Oversold

    by MegN1975 on 8/22/23

The venue was a disaster, drunk passed out people all over. Irate people because there was no reception and people couldn’t download their tickets….the staff wasn’t even helpful. The parking was atrocious. Then the concert started late. If it wasn’t for my friends I would have left. For as much money as we pay for tickets I expected better.

    Great Show, Worst Venue

    by Eli on 8/22/23

The artist and the show was fantastic. However, the overall experience leading up to headliner was a nightmare. We spent 1.5 hours bumper to bumper 2 miles away from the venue near the freeway exit. There was only 1 lane that both incoming traffic on each side must merge into. The general parking was another 2.5 miles away from the venue entrance. I purchased lawn area tickets, but couldn't even enter that area due to overcrowding. No one was sitting on their lawn chair because of how packed it was. Show started late and the only place I was able to find a glimpse of the screen was by the food vendors on a chain link fence with a tree in front of me. I truly believe the lawn area tickets were overbooked past it's capacity. The venues path to the entrance was littered in garbage. I had the benefit of the doubt given the location of the venue, but I will not return to San Bernardino ever again for another show.

    Not organized

    by Onesagain on 8/22/23

I get aisle seats when available for easy access and to have people with no assign seating standing next to you invading the whole walkway is very inconvenient and almost got into a altercation due to people who where standing next to us without a assign seat spilled a drink all over my wife. And getting hit multiple times by someone standing behind me without an assign seat . Seating and area should’ve been monitored and only access by ticket holder whose seats are assign in that area, very disappointed and did not enjoy the show to do people invading the whole area .

    Great concert, terrible venue

    by Hannah on 8/22/23

The concert was fantastic and Post Malone did a great job, my only negative feedback was for the traffic management at the event. Took two and a half hours each way to get in and out.

With the storm brewing over and the danger of the unknown we almost tapped out. So happy we took a chance. Amazing to see Post and band for the first time live. Danced till my knees and feet couldn't take it any longer!!

    Epic Performance

    by Chrissy on 8/22/23

What an amazing experience. I was fortunate enough to see Post Malone at Outside Lands last summer, his first appearance in 2+ years - it was a great show and I loved every minute. That being said, this concert was amazing! The addition of the band, the string quartet and the effects - I need a better word than AMAZING to use here. I loved his set list - a combo of his well-known songs and some songs from his new album. We stood the entire show and had the best time. I loved getting to see his personality shine through and after the encore, he jumped down into the pit! Cannot say enough great things about the show.

    Glen Helen Parking is horrible

    by The Explorer on 8/22/23

We received a recording before the event on three different recordings this concert was going to be a sold out event and to show up early. We did as the recording said and showed up early. When we got to the event, everyone was packed in together like sardines! Post Malone gave a terrific show to his fans, which is why we went. Going home after the concert was a daunting task. There was no structure or organization. We paid for Premier parking, didn't seem Premier at all. The concert was over at 11:30p. We got to our car at 12 midnight. And was not able to exit the parking lot till 2am. Glen Helen need to work on their parking organizations.
