About

Post Malone on Tour

Rising rapper and R&B singer Post Malone hit pay dirt in 2015 with his hugely popular breakout single "White Iverson," a Top 3 jam on the Hot Rap Songs chart that has racked up more than 200 million views on YouTube. Since then he's made good on the promise of that auspicious debut, generating major buzz with his 2016 mixtape August 26th and hitting the road for the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour Presents: Post Malone The Hollywood Dreams Tour. In concert Malone's excitement and passion are palpable, and his rapid-fire flow, bass-heavy beats, and infectious dancing always get fans moving their feet. He slayed in early 2016 as an opening act on Justin Bieber's Purpose World Tour, and followed up with killer headlining sets of his own in support of his much-anticipated debut album Stoney.

Post Malone in Concert

Austin Richard Post, aka Post Malone, was born in New York but spent his formative years in Dallas, TX. He taught himself to play guitar and produce music in high school, and at age 16 he became a local legend with his first independent mixtape release. He enrolled in a local community college after graduation, but dropped out after a few months to move to Los Angeles and pursue his music career. Once there he linked up with production team FKi Music, a fruitful collaboration that yielded several songs including "White Iverson." That track went viral in early 2015, racking up millions of plays on SoundCloud and YouTube and leading to a record deal with Republic Records. Malone's rise continued in 2016 with the release of his mixtape August 26th, his national TV debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and a collaboration single with Justin Bieber titled "Déjà Vu." His debut full-length Stoney generated big buzz in late 2016, and he continues to impress with swaggering, hit-filled sets on tour.

    Posty at Wheatland

    by Euchman on 8/24/23

Dont wear nice shoes, the dirt in the parking lot was more like dust, and dont waste your money for the fast lane. Other than that the 6 hour drive was worth every minute to see Austin. I cant believe how versatile he is, he did Fleetwood Mac epic hit Dreams. This has to be the only show Ive ever watched him do where he didn't go down to the crowd to greet people and sign autographs. He IS AMAZING!

    What A Night!

    by Lisa on 8/24/23

Post Malone Concert was AMAZING!! He is so humble and he can definitely put on a show and entertain his fans! We had the best night! The Glen Helen Amphitheater is a great place to see a concert. We were in Loge7 in row B and the seats were really good. The venue seemed well organized, didn't wait in any lineup too long and this was with 65,000+ people there! Only downfall was the wait to get out of the general parking lot once the concert was over. It was a complete bottleneck and took about an hour to get out of our spot. Once we got out of the lot though it was very smooth!

One of the best artists live

    by Blu on 8/24/23

Austin always puts on an amazing show, which is why so many fans keep coming back. He is heartfelt, crowd engaging and just an overall performer.

Mr. Malone was phenomenal but everything else...

    by Disgruntled on 8/24/23

Post Malone was incredible! So sweet and humble and he put on a fantastic show! The screens and the acoustics were great and there were lots of places to purchase drinks. The merch area was good but the stock could have had more of each size. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was atrocious. Getting to the venue was ridiculous. So, please be warned to arrive at least an hour and a half in advance if you don't want to get stuck in traffic. The venue entrance was trashed with cans and bottles, and there was trash all over after entering the venue. There were too few bathrooms for people to use and the ones that were available were packed and filthy. The parking situation was chaotic and not well organized, and the walkways were so jagged that people kept tripping. By far the worst concert experience I have ever had.

    Traffic was a shambles

    by Ryan F on 8/23/23

Concert was amazing and the ranking is not about Post Malone who was awesome. It’s about the absolute shambles to exit the parking lot. We got to our car at 22h30 in the parking lot and ended up getting out around 1h30. I hope that organizers could learn 101 in logistics and traffic flow. It was an absolute shocker.

    Stellar performance

    by Matty on 8/23/23

Posty didn’t come to play for his last show of the tour. From the amazing dancing and music to his crowd interaction. This was by far one of the best shows I have been to.

    Post Malone is the GOAT

    by JobiWanKenobi on 8/23/23

The concert was amazing! The extra $ for express line was pointless. No one verified if I or anyone actually had passes. The stage and seats need to be repositioned to shield from the setting sun, because who has morning concerts?

Good show bad location and informed workers

    by Kam on 8/23/23

Post is an amazing performer and we had an amazing time. The only downside was mostly the uninformed workers. They didn’t know where things were when we asked for directions for the vip club and such. We asked 3 different groups of people on where to go and one of them had no clue what we were talking about. Eventually we saw people standing in the line to get to the bottom seating and we asked the man standing there and he said “oh yeah it’s down here have a great time.” Better signage and informed workers would have made the experience perfect.

    Ghetto

    by Ducky on 8/23/23

Walking up to venue there was trash everywhere, the process of getting to your see was like “good luck out there”. CISS was terrible with communication and structure. The show started a hour and a half after advertised time. The screens would blackout through out the show. From the fights, lack of manners, and drunken people I don’t think I’ll ever visit this venue again.

    Posty legendary

    by TheDudeman on 8/23/23

Post is a great performer and puts on a really great show from start to finish. Brought the family to see them and they all loved it. The venue at glen Helen amphitheater was rough but didn’t take away from the set. Very crowded obviously but they’re was no direction post concert and the crowds just preceded to bottleneck and jam up at every opportunity. Lots and lots of walking if you park at general admission but seemed to Get out quicker at the end when you get there because that vip or closer parking was another source of extreme gridlock. Would definitely see posty again just somewhere else.

Great concert, horrible parking lot organization!!!

    by CB1 on 8/23/23

Post Malone was great amazing sound system everybody working at the venue was friendly and respectful but when it came time to leave it became a nightmare cars trying to exit from every direction I took us about 2 hours to get to the main street the problem is that nobody is directing traffic at the parking lot where the big mess is they only have people directing traffic at the Main Street where is really not needed anymore. Management should take note and work on resolving such unpleasant experience.

Performance was great, venue was disorganized.

    by NA on 8/23/23

Love Post Malone, his performance was awesome. We sat in Lodge 4 seats they were great. Getting to the venue and getting into Lodge area felt very disorganized. There was no clear start to the line to get into the section of our seats, and so many people just merged/cut into the line, which sucked for all the people patient enough to be in line. Getting out of the parking was even worse. Took us over an hour just to get out. Again, no sense of order or someone controlling the flow of traffic or direction of where cars should go to get out. Everyone just did their own thing and cut into lines which made it even longer to get out. Would always go see Post Malone again, but not sure I will return to this venue.

Post Malone was great but the venue sucks!

    by Mo on 8/23/23

Post Malone was and is a great performer! He sounds great live! I have no complaints there! BUT The glen helen amphitheater could do better though. It was difficult to find the gates (green, blue, etc.) they aren’t colored. Staff isn’t aware of the lots either. I asked if I was at the Guaranteed lot and she said yes and scanned my ticket. But I was at the wrong lot and I was directed else where. The staff also checks your ticket for the lodges twice making hard to come back in if you needed to use the restroom. During the show people were allowed to block the rows (which is a major hazard in case of an emergency!!) last but not least… the parking!! It took 2.5 hours to get out of the lot. No one directs traffic in the lots! I had a great time but will not be back to Glen Helen if I had a choice

Good concert, venue was not okay.

    by Jess on 8/23/23

Singer was great. Took my son to his first concert and he absolutely loved it. It was set up carnival style and food/merch stands everywhere. However omg. The venue is awful. There is a very long, rocky walk to get there. Even if you pay for parking ($75) there is very little service, so best advice is download your tickets ahead of time. It was Sooo crowded and very little direction to find your seats. I disliked it. I will definitely not be returning to that venue.
