Polkadots: The Cool Kids Musical – The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati Tickets

Pilkadots was amazing! The performers did an excellent job! The music was engaging and very well done! I loved it as much as my nine-year-old daughter did!!!

PolkaDots was a great lesson wrapped in 60 minutes of fun!

As an adult, I experienced a wide range of emotions watching Polkadots: The Cool Kids Musical. Knowing that there is discrimination and prejudice happening in schools (and everywhere) is heartbreaking. This musical demonstrated how a true friend doesn't just look past outward differences but celebrates them! And also looks for things in common. I watched the young children in the audience responding to the message and enjoying the songs immensely. I would recommend this musical to all, young and old. Go see it!!!

The play kept my Great nieces mesmerized. The conversation we had after the show was full of inspiration and love for people and our differences.

I took my five year old Granddaughter this weekend and we had a great time. The central message of the musical is so well done and she understood the different situations that were happening to the characters. I appreciated the themes of tolerance and diversity, but also resilience for the bullied child...so important for those children to know it gets better, to hang on, tomorrow is another day. My Isabelle laughed, she frowned, and she stayed engaged...at one point I thought she was going to go hug Lily and tell her she could sit by us! The timing of the show was perfect for her age; she likes this kind of event, but we've been to longer shows - this was just right. Isabelle even got to be Tracy Triangle - she was over the moon! Thank you for a terrific experience. We'll be back!

I attended Polkadots with 2 ladies who use a wheel chair. The acting was excellent and it would have been worth the trip based on that alone. But the fact that there was such a wonder message of acceptance of people, who are different than you, made this play a wonderful story for these two ladies to see. As you might guess, they struggle with being accepted by others due to their disabilities. I was close to tears at the end as I watched these two ladies smile at a message they wish they could share every day! I recommend everyone not only take their children to see this play, but EVERY person should see it as a reminded of how we should live our lives.
