I didnât realize Strawberry Girls was one of the openers(another prog-rock fave) till a few days before. They put on an awesome show! But wait, thereâs more! Standards is an awesome two piece group LA band that needs to be recognized! The guitarist had SKILLS, so did the Drummer! đhe did a bang up job (pun intended). Two awesome openers for PLINIâŚAnd he rocked it with his band! The recent release of EMBER on YouTube along with tracks from previous projects made our night, I was tired the next day but smiling. The ticket prices and parking was spot on, made buying T shirts easier. 5 stars! BTW I recommend bringing or buying ear plugs.
Had goosebumps the entire time. Will make it a point if planning does come back to the United States. The only concern I have was not in the performance, but the venue itself. Limited parking made it difficult to find efficient parking.
All 3 bands were incredible! Iâd never seen any of these groups live before, so getting the experience with a bunch of other music enthusiasts made the whole experience even better! Iâm anxiously waiting for Plini to come back around on another USA tour. I need more of his music in my ears!
I was in Dallas on a trip and decided to go to the show since I like electric guitar and some of these musicians, but had never seen them live. The venue is quite modern and inviting. Very well organized getting in. The sound was also decent, although bass heavy and muddy for several of the bands. Hard to hear saxophone and electric guitar above the kick drum and bass frequencies, I definitely think the whole thing couldâve been five or 10 dB lower and still very successful. Plini is an amazing musician, and I love his music. However, they had strobe lights and flashing lights directed at the audience on the stage that were triggered by the music, I thought that was way too much and we had to leave after the first song they played. But we had a good time, nevertheless, and I look forward to coming back to this venue next time I am in in Dallas.
Great sound! Great bands! Decent drink prices given the circumstances.
Plini is one of my favorite artists, and he didnât disappoint. Jaykubâs set blew me away as well. Only complaint is that SPL levels were a touch high. My uncalibrated phone was reading 117dB average. Second time at this venue and Iâve consistently heard the same feedback, itâs quite loud. I had earplugs but not everyone did. Thatâs my only real feedback for an otherwise phenomenal show. Seats on the balcony are absolutely worth it, by the way.
The artists delivered a wonderful music experience, they were all super cute and silly with one another, a bonus. Plini was friendly and interacted with the audience, he even got a conga line going. I was very suprised by the low end the sound tech dialed in n delivered (props 2 Ronnie Divine), the bass was really full and hit just right. This was my first time seeing Plini live. I'm officially hooked.
Wow, what a show! Plini has such an amazing and full sound. Very professional, fun interactions between songs, amazing talent and music! Epic solo performances by all the musicians in the band as well. I will buy tickets to see Plini every time they come around!
Absolutely insane. The rest of these words are tot hit the 50 character minimum.
