Internationally-acclaimed artist and the world’s ‘Fastest Piano Player’ Peter Bence will return this year to thrill Australian audiences with his incredible talent.
Fans will experience the agility and dexterity that Bence brings to the piano when he performs the cover tracks that have brought him fame and notoriety on Youtube, as well as compositions from his debut album The Awesome Piano.
Bence has achieved sensational success with his edgy, percussive and expressive playing style that has broken down boundaries between classical and popular music. He takes the piano to a whole new level, which inspires both younger and older generations of musicians and music lovers from everywhere around the world. His live performances are attracting thousands around the world and he has taken the internet by storm, collecting over 800 million video hits and a huge following on YouTube and Facebook.
In January 2012 he attained the Guinness World Record for the “most piano key hits in one minute” with 765 key hits.
This was so much for fun my whole family, 7 and 9 year old boys included. We loved the music, Peter's humble and humorous banter and the audience participation. He's a genius and inspires our kids to practice their piano!
Humble genius! Charming, entertaining and fantastic. This is not classical music, but the mastery of the instrument is utterly amazing. Can't wait to bring the family to his performance again. Crossing our fingers he travels to the west coast. He seems to mainly tour eastern Europe. Peter if you can hear this, please come to LA!!!! (But we would fly to NYC to see you again)
Mr. Bence came on stage dramatically late at 8:20. He then provided us 1 hour 20 minutes of brilliant piano mastery and invention. He is a true gem of the contemporary music world!
