About
A Brooklyn-based six-piece that combines finger-picked guitar with fanfare-ish brass arrangements, Peaceful Faces performs the songs of songwriter and trumpeter Tree Palmedo. Their debut album, Letters From Late Adolescence, was released in February 2020. Metaphorical explorations of heartache and regret and the flickers of doubt in new relationships are filtered through a lens of Brian Wilson-esque vocal arrangements, layers of lush guitar, and surprising, Elliott Smith-indebted melodies.
