    Disappointing

by Jay Kay on 4/14/23Bergen Performing Arts Center - Englewood

The storyline is poor. There’s awkward scene changes. Special effects aren’t good. Not great acting. Poor timing with sound effects. Not as adorable as I wanted. Didn’t make me care. Not captivating. Waste of money. I’d rather be at a different show.

    Not great

by Josh on 2/22/23Bergen Performing Arts Center - Englewood

Disappointing show. Some awkward costume changes for the puppets with no one on stage. The water didn’t look real. The sound effects didn’t match the painting. The script was very basic. It wasn’t very funny. But puppeteering was okay. Parking wasn’t totally clear and almost risked getting towed.

    Culture

The play was very cute and enjoyable. We were seated on the mezzanine so we were able to see the handlers pretty clearly so that was a bummer, I think the set should be taller to avoid that. Even my 3 year old was wondering “what are those guys doing?”. Also, it was only 1 hour long, slightly disappointing.

    Paddington review

by Debbie on 2/1/23Music Hall Center - Detroit

I bought these tickets for my granddaughter as part of her Christmas present. She's 2 1/2. She enjoyed the show. In my opinion, the ticket cost was excessive to what was presented. Very minimal staging, just 3 characters. I was shocked it kept her interest. I feel a ticket price point should be in the $20-$25 range for main floor compared to other events that we've experienced. There wasn't even any merchandise being offered for sale. Just a so so experience.

This was a fun show for the younger set. Well done!

Our grandchildren ages 5 and 7 had a wonderful time. Paddington was so well played. And the "drama" was silly enough for lots of laughs. We highly recommend the show.

    Good show

The show is adorable. My son was laughing so much and all the children attending the show really enjoyed themselves. Ticket prices are expensive.
