About Oprah Winfrey
Oprah Winfrey, a global media leader, philanthropist, producer and actress, has created an unparalleled connection with people around the world. Her accomplishments have established her as one of the most respected and admired figures today. Winfrey was host of the award-winning talk show "The Oprah Winfrey Show" for 25 years, and currently serves as Chairman and CEO of OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network. She is the founder of O, The Oprah Magazine and oversees Harpo Films.
Winfrey is an Academy-Award nominated actress for her role in "The Color Purple," and was a producer and actress in the Academy Award-winning film "Selma." Winfrey starred in the Emmy award-nominated HBO Films "The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks," and portrays "Mrs. Which" in Disney's "Wrinkle in Time" film adaptation by director Ava DuVernay, which released in March 2018.
In October, 2015, Winfrey joined the board of directors for Weight Watchers, and in 2017 launched a food line "O, That's Good" in collaboration with Kraft Heinz.
In 2007, Winfrey established the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa to provide education for academically gifted girls from disadvantaged backgrounds.
In 2013, Winfrey was awarded the Medal of Freedom, the nation's highest civilian honor.

Winfrey is touring in 2020 with WW (Weight Watchers Reimagined), including special guests for all nine arena shows. Oprah sits down for an intimate one-on-one conversation with nine different celebrity personalities as she motivates audiences to make 2020 the year of renewal and celebrate all we are meant to be. Guests will participate in an interactive morning session as Oprah leads several workbook exercises and guides attendees to develop their 2020 action plan.
An inspiring speaker energizes audiences with tools and insights to move them toward their healthiest and best lives. Emmy award-winning choreographer Julianne Hough kicks off the afternoon with an exhilarating movement experience leading her KINRGY method. The day features a marquee Oprah interview with some of the most influential trailblazers and changemakers who have inspired millions through their unique and powerful wellness stories. Every city also highlights remarkable individuals who, by first taking charge of their own health, created a ripple effect of wellness in their community. Oprah closes out the day empowering audiences to let 2020 be the year of transformation and triumph – beginning first and foremost with what makes us well.
Global dance phenomenon Daybreaker leads an electrifying pre-show dance party for audiences at each stop. Unilever Beauty and Personal Care Brands – Love Beauty and Planet, Degree and Vaseline – join the tour to help empower audiences to live stronger, healthier and more confident lives. Each brand comes to life through unique activations that celebrate sustainability, healing and the importance of movement. Kohl's partners on the tour bringing to life well-being through personal and home style. Attendees also enjoy a WW customized boxed lunch.

by Woo on 1/7/20BB&T Center - SunriseEnjoyed going thru this Oprah experience with my friends by my side. Dance party, Gaga interview were also highlights. Only downside was the interview with WW CEO, felt like I was in the middle of an infomercial. However, the all-day experience was worth the time, money and attention.

My only option was salad which I had to eat while balancing a box on my lap. I threw it out. 2nd problem-intro music was way way too long. We didn’t have room to move and couldn’t see all that well, so it dragged on too long.

by V. A. on 1/7/20BB&T Center - SunriseI didn’t know it was 7 hours. I barely stayed until 12:30. Had I known it was an all day thing. I would have come better prepared. But truthfully I wouldn’t waste 8 hours on anyone unless I was getting paid. Despite all that, I loved the show!

by D on 1/7/20BB&T Center - SunrisePraise the Lord my experience was very beautiful with a surprise guest lunch and many beautiful people rejoicing together #1 something else to eat nothing! #2 handicap chairs were very uncomfortable it was an excellent day we all have room for improvement God's purpose and his plan will prevail God bless you all!

I enjoyed the day, but felt some of the segments were longer than needed. Regardless, I loved the day & look forward to the next time.

I am a educator in the DMV and apart of the 2% of African American men working hard to make a impact in children's lives. I can't wait to thank her, Oprah's knowledge has guided me very far with a background and product of the foster care system wrapped in trauma and social emotional issues. This event will give me the opportunity to see her and pretend in my head she is my neighbor and friend! LOL, I know we would have been BFF's if we'd met when I lived in Memphis as a young girl. Oprah is a black girl who ROCZ!!!!
