I bought my tickets prior to the pandemic and flew back from MI for the concert. Boy! Was it worth the wait. I had chills the entire performance. Olafur is a genius. Mesmerizing. I hope to see them again in the future, however, I will settle for Spotify and Apple Music until then. Thank you so very much for sharing your gift with us!
I originally booked in March 2020, for November 2020, so very pleased that this finally happened June 2022). A wonderful concert and great to see Ólafur Arnalds and all the musicians obviously enjoying the concert as much as I was! A delight to see and listen to.
Fed my soul. Ólafur is genius and such a gentle soul. The music was life affirming.
Everything about Olafur is unique, from the sound itself, to the instruments he employs, to the ensemble that backs him, to the lighting that puts the finishing touches on magical performances. The respectful silence that ended each song as it was intended speaks volumes to the respect audiences give this true artist. I've never been to a better experience than the one I enjoyed in Seattle last week. To all, well done and best wishes. It was, simply, the best. 😎
This was my second time seeing Olafur Arnalds. His performances are amazing, as always. I hope to see another future show.
Great performance! I loved all the acoustics. Loved the crowd. I had box seats and so my view was a little obstructed on the side; so keep that in mind when getting any of the box seats.
Very mellow performance He was arrogant Not at all welcoming but some of his music was entertaining
Olafur was incredible. My wife and I were disappointed that members of the audience were getting up in between songs to refill drinks, etc. Many people were talking throughout the performance. Not great for a classical concert - maybe the audience could have benefited from a reminder on etiquette during a classical performance. I've seen Olafur in 3 countries and never experienced such distracted audience.
I've been a fan of Olafurs music for almost 10 years now, but didn't know he was funny. Absolutely loved the stories he tells between songs.
