About

Multi-award winning number one UK podcast, NO SUCH THING AS A FISH boasts 1.5 million downloads a week and will now embark on its first ever Australian live tour in 2018.

One of the UK’s most successful podcasts, No Such Thing As A Fish, heads to Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane in May next year.

NSTAAF is a weekly podcast produced and presented by the researchers from the hit BBC comedy panel quiz show, QI - Dan Schreiber, James Harkin, Anna Ptaszynski and Andrew Hunter Murray. In each episode they share the most bizarre, extraordinary and hilarious facts they’ve found out over the last seven days.

Since its launch in March 2014, No Such Thing As A Fish has released nearly 200 episodes, racked up more than 55 million downloads, won numerous awards including two Chortle Awards, and iTunes’ Best New Podcast 2014, been named by iTunes UK as one of its top 10 most downloaded podcasts of 2016, earned a spot in the iTunes Best of 2016 list, released a special episode on vinyl and been adapted for BBC2 into two hit series of No Such Thing As The News. Their 2015/16 tour was a runaway success, selling out the 1,000-seat Lyric theatre in London’s West End and a dozen other venues across the UK and Europe.

Now the NSTAAF team are taking to the road again, this time headed for Australia. The live incarnation of the podcast will include a live recording - as well as a first half featuring the most astonishing facts the team have found from the year’s news.

Co-host Dan Schreiber says, “This is massively exciting for us. We started as four dorks sitting around a single microphone trying to make each other laugh. Things have changed a bit since we started – we now have four microphones – but it’s a thrill to know there are hundreds of thousands of other people who love the same wild and hilarious facts that we do.”

Make a date to see the Fab Four in Australia next year!

    Very Funny

by Dan on 11/8/19Punch Line Philly - Philadelphia

I would recommend this show to literally anyone that likes hearing interesting facts, clever jokes, or goofy conversation. Even if you aren't a fan of the podcast (which is great, check it out) I think the show would be a good time for just about anybody. Super fun and chill. The hosts are all really cool, nerdy people and they put on a great show. I hope I get to see them again soon.

This was everything I hoped it would be, and more! So awesome they kicked off their tour over here by coming to Boston!

    Even funnier in person

by Myo on 11/7/19The Wilbur - Boston

Love love love listening to the podcast, but the QI elves are even funnier in person. It’s a shame that only 12 minutes of the show will be broadcast, based on what they said on stage. I’m so glad I went!

    Amazing group to see live

by CI on 11/7/19The Wilbur - Boston

Who thought seeing a podcast could be fun!? Lots of people, really. Great facts, great audience, and great cast. My only complaint (well, not really mine) is that the balcony at the Wilbur is tight and my 6’2” husband sat with his knees in his chest.
