    Very informative with multiple booths

by Joanie on 3/4/20NYCB LIVE, Home of The Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum - Uniondale

I went there specifically to renew my passport. My local AAA office informed me I could do it at the travel expo. I was able to do it. It was so quick and easy. We stopped at many of the travel info booths and got a lot of info for a trip we hope to take in the near future.

Hard to find, good amt. of tables, but confusing

by LSeltzer on 3/4/20NYCB LIVE, Home of The Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum - Uniondale

Well, we had no expectations. Everything that was said would be there, was there. However, not even an ARROW pointing to downstairs was at the event, so it took us 30 minutes to find the Expo! That's...just ridiculous. It was a small event, but many of the vendors were excellent. Free food was a nice touch. With enough time, we were able to see several vendors, ask questions, and get information. There wasn't too much spam-marketing, but it was there: credit card offers all over the place. What we wanted: vendors promoting/selling equipment/devices/things related to travel, not just travel agents via AAA. Would like to have seen more travel-related stuff: cameras, luggage, insurance, clothing, etc. as that's a HUGE market. No clue what the beer festival had to do with the travel expo... seemed to distract from it...as did the bull ride...although... could be fun...just only one thing, so it didn't seem to fit with the room.

    Waste of Time

by Diamond Nicole on 3/4/20NYCB LIVE, Home of The Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum - Uniondale

Don’t waste your times Just a bunch of companies trying to get you to seat in a time share meeting to get free trips. I went thinking it was different travel agencies trying to get you the best rates on upcoming vacations. Nope! Also when they do offer you a free trip be mindful you must pay a $40 upfront fee and pick a date to go sit for a 1.5- 2 hour sales pitch somewhere. I don’t want a free trip, I’m was looking for travel sales/discounts. Waste of 2 hours of my life I can never get back.

Pay $ 14 to get hard pitched timeshares and home improvement

by r. on 3/4/20NYCB LIVE, Home of The Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum - Uniondale

Too many hawkish sales people selling timeshares and home improvements. Advertised a “ kids zone” which was pathetic and pretty much non existent. Waste of money
