    Audience mama the show

by Rheacerdave on 11/4/23The Walker Theatre - Chattanooga

We’ve all seen RHPS dozens of times. It is the audience that makes the show and this was a good one. Dammit Janet, no one minded Meatloaf again.

It was so great to experience this with Barry Bostwick and with all the people dressed up. It was a fun time

    Pre-Movie “Show” is HORRIBLE

by Kate on 11/1/23Tennessee Theatre - Knoxville

The actor/actress playing the transvestite in the pre-movie “show” was horrible. His look was a pair of tropical themed bikini underwear, a black corset, a non-matching sheer shawl, and high heels. His voice was mediocre at best; I couldn’t even understand him. His “junk” was very visible to everyone! He seemed quite proud of it in fact. Gross. The audience costume contest could have been handled by the other two people. That was fun!! The transvestite can stay in his dressing room and admire himself in the mirror. The movie’s sound was very poor; very hard to understand the words. 😞

I paid how much for this!

by Aaron on 10/31/23Fisher Theatre - Detroit

I was expecting a theatrical performance of Rocky Horror Picture Show. Instead I got to see the original movie version on the big screen with a group of middle aged, round ladies silently mouthing the words as the movie played in costume. I have the dvd at home. I didn't need to come to the Fisher to see it again. The audience was great. But the show, very disappointing. Did the advertisements say something about this being a fund raiser or give some warning it was to be amateur night or whatever you wish to call it? I missed it if they did. .As a drag show it would have been a whole lot better.

    Very good but lacking

by Kinglberry on 10/31/23Tennessee Theatre - Knoxville

I wish there was a narrator or whatever you want to call him/her who was hooked up to the sound system and called out many of the lines. Not all, but some of the more timing related and such. I've been to shows where that happens and it is so much better.

    Poor audio and video quality.

by jd on 10/31/23Mahalia Jackson Theater for the Performing Arts - New Orleans

Poor audio and video quality, feeble shadow-cast. Barry Bostwick's monologue was ok. Audience costumes and participation were good. Parking was safe. I enjoyed it overall but can't recommend the show to anyone who isn't already a firm Frankie fan. A number of audience members left before the end, and I don't blame them.

    Very good and entertaining

by Angie on 10/31/23Tennessee Theatre - Knoxville

Was a little loud and could not understand all the words due to being distorted but still really good.
