About

Letterkenny On Tour

A show that's every bit as rude, raucous, and hilarious as the TV series that fans know and love, Letterkenny Live is back. Audiences can expect more of the same good times they had when the Letterkenny gang headed off the screen for their very first Canadian tour in the spring of 2018.

The sold-out dates all over the country were a sign of the phenomenon that the show has become in the years since viewers first got a taste of its gleefully profane yet lovable sensibility. Letterkenny made its debut in 2013 as a web series that spoofed the ways and attitudes of rural folks like the kind that co-creator Jared Keeso knew growing up in the farm town of Listowel, Ontario. Racking up tens of millions of YouTube views, the original videos established a unique brand of comedy, one that could be crude, affectionate, and wickedly clever all at once.

With their instantly quotable and reliably foul-mouthed dialogue, the characters played by Keeso and his pals had little trouble making the transition as the show evolved from a viral sensation to a full-fledged sitcom. Set in the titular town, Letterkenny has become a favourite destination for viewers of Crave and The Comedy Network in Canada. And with the addition of the show to Hulu in 2018, Letterkenny expanded its following in the U.S., where more and more audiences are getting acquainted with the show's motley crew of idiotic hockey players, sketchy skids, and sarcastic hicks like Wayne (Keeso), Daryl (Nathan Dales), and Squirrely Dan (K. Trevor Wilson), the three buddies who always find themselves in the middle of the idiocy.

Billed as a 90-minute comedy experience featuring Keeso, Dales, Wilson, and Mark Forward — who fans will recognize as the hockey team's hot-headed coach – shows on the Letterkenny Live! The Encore Tour combine performances of beloved sketches with additional material not seen on TV or on the original tour. Two of Canada's sharpest stand-ups, Wilson and Forward also perform solo sets. So as Wayne himself might say, "Pitter-patter, let's get at ‘er."

    Good for some laughs

by JD on 3/25/24Great Canadian Casino Vancouver - Coquitlam

The comics were all talented; but our group was hoping for some more LetterKenney elements. We were on a bachelor party and all had a good laughs at the raunchy elements but certainly not for everyone

    Funny, but not Letterkenny

by Jenna on 3/9/24Amaturo Theater at Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

This was a good stand-up comedy show very loosely based on Letterkenny. The only commonalities were the performers, but still a fun evening.

    Coach was awesome!

by Boycee on 2/19/24The Arena at Pickering Casino Resort - Pickering

Venue was great and the first three comedians were fine, obviously not as seasoned in front of the crowd as the headliner! The hour that Mark forward presented rivalled any comedian that I have ever seen, live or on tv! He handled the crowd and controlled the show from start to finish. It was hilarious.

    Entertaining

by Winston on 2/13/24Casino Nova Scotia - The Bruce Guthro Theatre - Halifax

The opening comedian was by far our favourite of the three. He was funny and just a regular guy. Easy to relate to. The second comedian, her jokes primarily had sexual innuendoes. Normally I find that funny, but not for the entire set. The third comedian, he was funny, but the jackass in the audience hollering out stuff to ok away from the set. Not the comedians fault. He was loud from the time he sat down. He should have been kicked out. Overall a good night out for a few laughs.

    Nothing to do with Letterkenny

by MIckey Dee on 11/21/23Algonquin Commons Theatre - Nepean

This was some deceptive advertising. Last "Letterkenny"tour was full cast. This was a few tangential characters and writer(s?) doing stand up. Not even a reference or mention of Letterkenny itself. Mark Ford is funny but he's a lot for a whole hour...

    Hilarious!

We had so much fun, skits from the show, stand up and unseen clips from the show. Looking forward to another tour!
