Powerful compelling talk with Dr. Jordan Pederson

by Haneys on 4/24/24BOK Center - Tulsa

This was a gift for my wife and daughter. They cannot stop talking about the event in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They are going to send him a note telling him how much they got from his talk. The live tickets pulled up fine and entrance to the BOK Center went smoothly. The tickets were fantastic seats too. The workers at the event were all very friendly and helpful. The whole experience made for a wonderful mother and daughter weekend.

    Amazing experience!

by Maria on 4/21/24Abraham Chavez Theatre - El Paso

Quick and easy check in process. I liked having the ticket on my phone, made everything smooth. I had a VIP ticket and it did not disappoint. My only complaint is that the event did not start on time, people did not show up soon enough, so the VIP had to be rushed, I also had to leave early for scheduled ride. I also would have liked an itinerary of the events for better planning of rides. But overall awesome event and hopefully Dr. Peterson will be in El Paso again in the future!

Some great ideas but severely undercut by obvious advertisements for his other endeavors.

    An enticing intellectual experience

by Wolfstark on 4/19/24Abraham Chavez Theatre - El Paso

It was great to see Jordan Peterson in the flesh. As usual, he ruminates through various thought structures and teaches practical conclusions about today’s world. He combines Jungian philosophy with biblical discourse and brilliant personal anecdotes.

    Could have been better!

by QML408 on 4/19/24Dickies Arena - Fort Worth

Attended JP's lecture "Those of us who wrestle with God,"and here are my thoughts... JP was engaged with the audience, and you can tell he cares about his message and all of us. He puts a lot of thought into what he wants to cover and likes the narrative to lead people on a mental journey. His focus for the first 50 minutes was related to self & relationship topics that many parents are already aware of. I was surprised at how much time he took to lay the foundation for only one story about the Bible (Moses & the Burning Bush). He did cover a brief explanation of Abraham during the Q&A, but that was about it. 80% of the lecture seemed to be explaining how our lives are stories & then 10% was tying those stories into how they have been affected by the French Intellectuals of the 1960s, who were all Marxist. From there, he drew the parallels to our divisive society and that our divergence from God, faith & religion is what exacerbates our situation in this world. The other 10% of the show was the Q&A and the 2 religious stories. All in all, it was not his best material. I went to his lecture last year, and the content was on a different level. I would give this lecture a 3 out of 5. Too much foundation laying and the connections between concepts were strained and a bit clumsy. There wasn't much thought provoking information that I took home this year. Will go again next year. Hoping it gets back to brilliance! Thank you, Dr. Peterson!
