Wise decision on Saints side in Loge Club

Mercedes-Benz Superdome - New Orleans

For the previous home game, I sat on the visitors side in the Loge Club. The food staff really did not have their act together there, so I chose the Saints side of the Loge Club for the first playoff game. Wise decision!!!! Since I can no longer climb the stairs in the Terrace, I always choose the Loge or Plaza level. Good Plaza seats were not available for the right price for this game. My Loge Club seat was a bargain at face value. The crowd really helped the Saints win!!!!

New Orleans Saints 2019 Season

Saints fans love seeing head coach Sean Payton lead the team to a win. In 2018, the Saints were one of the top overall teams with a 13-3 record and won the NFC South. After securing a bye in the first round of the playoffs, they beat the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round before a narrow 20-14 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Championship game. Quarterback Drew Brees put together an MVP-caliber season and wide receiver Michael Thomas had a fantastic season with only a 2.3% drop rate on 128 targets. The offense finished eighth in the NFL in total yards and the run defense was outstanding led by Vonn Bell, Cameron Jordan and Demario Davis. The team returns their core in 2019 primed for another great season.

New Orleans Saints History

The Saints, long considered uncompetitive, proved to be a force to be reckoned with by qualifying for the playoffs for the first time in 1987, ending the season with a 12-3 record. In 2000, the franchise won their first playoff game. By 2009, when they won a record 13 games, the Saints won the Super Bowl against the Indianapolis Colts, with Brees earning MVP for his standout performance.

Saints Hall of Famers include Jim Taylor, Doug Atkins, Earl Campbell, Rickey Jackson, Willie Roaf, Ken Stabler and Morten Andersen. Ring of Honor awards have gone to Archie Manning, Rickey Jackson, Willie Roaf and Morten Andersen. In their 51 seasons, the Saints' overall record is 357-442-5
