Nashville Predators History
The Predators joined the NHL in 1998 during a two-year expansion that saw the League add the Atlanta Thrashers, Columbus Blue Jackets and Minnesota Wild. The team made its first trip to the Playoffs during the 2003-04 season, and proceeded to make the postseason six of the next seven seasons. Nashville won its first Playoff series against the Anaheim Ducks in 2011, and returned to the second round again the following spring.
Two seasons later, with Peter Laviolette as Head Coach, Nashville began their four-year run as a Stanley Cup contender. With P.K. Subban arriving ahead of the 2016-17 season to anchor the defense, the Preds upset the Chicago Blackhawks, St. Louis Blues and Anaheim Ducks in consecutive Playoff series to reach the 2017 Stanley Cup Final. That streak had two distinctions: It was the first time a No. 8 seed knocked out a top seed (the Blackhawks) and the Predators became the first team in two decades to win 10 consecutive home Playoff games.
Facing the Pittsburgh Penguins in the Stanley Cup Final, the Preds lost the first two games before storming back to take Games 3 and 4. After a decisive Pittsburgh home victory, the Penguins prevailed 2-0 in Game 6, with both goals coming in the final two minutes.
Filip Forsberg, who re-signed with the team for eight seasons in July 2022, is the Predators all-time leading scorer. Roman Josi, Pekka Rinne, Mike Fisher and Steve Sullivan have all won NHL awards, while Josi, Rinne and former captain Shea Weber have the distinction of being NHL First-Team All-Stars for the club. The Nashville Predators have made the Playoffs 15 times in their 24 seasons.

The arena was great. My first time being there. Friendly and helpful staff. Prices reasonable. Exciting game. OT win. Will definitely visit again.
It was our first NHL game. Man, did we have a great time! The venue is co-located with Nashville's honk tonk row and across the street from the Assembly Food Hall that has 30+ restaurants and bars. Fantastic food! We enjoyed a few beers before the game at Teddy's Tavern across the street from the arena. It was super easy getting into the venue and there was plenty to do and see before the game once we were inside. All the staff was super friendly and accommodating! Can't wait to go back!!!
These tickets should have been advertised as obstructed view. The view of these seats were directly at a railing in front of us. I was unhappy to say the least and was upset that I spent all that money on the tickets to look at a railing.
Handycap seats were great. Bridgestone people were very helpful
We had SO much fun Saturday!!! Thank you, preds!! We will be going to more. This was my second preds game and my bffs first!
The process to get the tickets and check in at the Nashville Bridgestone Arena was flawless.
Was a great experience. Would do it again. Was very easy to get tickets.
The game was awesome worth every penny. The lines move very quickly. The kids event was great. The snacks at the game, restaurants, near by stores, and the bars were all good. Great weekend!
We went to see Nashville vs Colorado game on Saturday night. It was fantastic! All the fans are soooooo supportive of the team standing up when they come out and constantly cheering for them. You can feel the winning atmosphere throughout the whole rink! It was really fun to be part of it.
Very interactive atmosphere, fan friendly, staff at Bridgestone Arena was courteous, we thoroughly enjoyed our first time there.
Great experience from purchase of ticket throughout the game and including food at venue. Very enthusiastic crowd and a great place to watch a game.
Great time. Great seats at a decent price. An amazing experience
First time to the Arena. Great location, outstanding venue and energy! Go Preds!
The atmosphere. The magic. The mystery. The hat trick. The shine. ✨
Tickets were sent quickly and were easy to access. Just a quick scan and we were inside the arena. Will definitely use next time I go to a hockey game.
Always A good time @ the Preds games win or lose. I love the atmophere & the Fan interactions!
Preds got killed!! But going to gam good as ever!!! Until left around 11 o’clock! Bums drug addicts lying all over downtown!! Nashville has changed and not in good way!!!
Got seats in 300 section, terribly uncomfortable air conditioning made it hard to stay in our seatings. Had to get up out of our seats frequently to stay warm.
Was an exciting experience, the action if the hockey game is non stop almost and the arena was top notch. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. Was actually there to root for the opposition but the home team fans was very nice and pleasant to speak with. The souvenir shop was second to none and the concessions were plentiful and didn't have to look around for anything. If they didn't sell it you didn't need it because they had everything you could think of and more.
The whole experience was outstanding with the ease of Ticketmaster and the Preds Organization.
