Friday night was a bust with the weather, and I did not get refunded like we were told. Saturday the music was great, but the vendors were too expensive, it was HOT and there was no water stations to stay hydrated. Bad combo with all those people and no shade.
We had a great time. The artists were great, the sound was great. I was so glad to get to see Lucinda after she wasn't able to make Born and Raised last year. That was the highlight of the show for me. I enjoyed the venue, the people were great. It would be great if there were more room for parking. We might just return next year!
This was a great place for a show! Very friendly nice crowd! Short lines for food, beverages, and restrooms! Beautiful view of the mighty Mississippi river! I highly recommend visiting Natchez!
There were 5 different music acts. They were all amazing. I had a blast. The setup was amazing for the music and food. There was also a carnival next to it. Cody Jinks headlined and did amazing capping off an amazing 10 hour experience.
The best performance was yz ealey the price for drinks was highway robbery and overall i and my friend were very disappointed
Unfortunately we were able to attend due to work and economic issues so our tickets just went to waste. Maybe next year we can attend. Hate we had to miss it.
My husband and I really enjoyed the event. The music was amazing and made for a wonderful atmosphere!
Wonderful event! The bands were great! Venue and beer and food were easy and delicious! Carnival was nice too! Natchez is a great city!!!
Red & the Revelers put on a red hot swamp soul opening act. Then lightning threatened near by. The remainder of Friday night acts were cancelled, leaving a disappointed crowd. Red and the Revelers then moved to a near by indoor venue and put on a rousing second set for the festival crowd. The Mudbug Festival is well organized and the staff was friendly. Security was obvious, but laid back. Great time, will do it again.
Prices were ridiculous!!! Bands were awesome! Come on, $8 a beer! $4 a coke! Food was also very overpriced!
