Disappointed
by carkat on 1/26/23Huntington Center - ToledoMy son was racing for the first time in an Arena. We purchased tickets for the Stadium and not the Pit passes. Our thoughts on this was, we would be able to watch all the races before the main event in the stands. Unfortunately, we paid $106.00 for 3 Stadium seats and could not get into the building until doors open at 6:00pm, with these tickets. The venue and the promoter could not accommodate the misunderstanding, so we had to pay extra just to watch our son practice before the main event. We ended up purchasing 3 pit passes, totalling $90+. Another unfortunate..., our son did not qualify for the main event. The reason he did not qualify for the Main Event was due to lack of organization with when it is your time to ride. He missed his last ride because it was so confusing on when he was supposed to race. So had we not spent extra $.$$ on the Pit Passes we would have not seen him ride at all. Suggestion for future racers to have a better experience and understanding when it is your turn to race: Have a digital display indicating the order....NOT 1/2 SHEETS OF PAPER DUCK TAPED TO THE WALL. Another suggestion, TURN UP THE ANNOUNCERS MICROPHONE!! It was extremely difficult to understand his announcements with the CONSTANT Motorcycles revving their engines that echoed throughout the stadium. The lack of organization was a deterring factor for my son to want to participate in Future races with this company.
