Montreal-born and NYC-based music artist Mimo Magri reps Harlem and the 514 on the daily. Trained as a musician, actor, and dancer, her work revolves around the tremendous powers of the body and astrology. With a sultry genre mixture of neo-soul, jazz, trip-hop, and R&B, Mimo draws interest from music fans across the world. Through an album and two EPs with no features, Mimo has assembled a catalog rich in detail. Upon teaming up with producers Strange Dust and Adriatic, her latest single “An Introduction” took off in Canada, seeing 60k streams the first month. She recently released the Mars Took Over EP on Automatic Records.
