It was an owesome concert, except it started at ten minutes before 9!!!!!
Noticed a big improvement sound wise on the theater when compared to a concert I heard a year ago. The bass sound was much powerful this time and could be felt in your seat. However, the sound engineers still need to beam guitar range sounds for the middle seats audience in the pit area. Overall, the staff was great and very professional. The venue is improving year by year and that is noticible. Very happy to attend a concert there.
The only thing We don't like was when the people going to stage blocking the show with cell phones tablets or cameras and nobody can control them. On this kind a concerts when sold tickets more expensive for get sitting close to stage they should have staff to control those situations and at least restrict the use of tablets.
Arrived 1 hour before the show waited inside the Theater until 8:08 p.m. that they opened the doors waited for the show to start until 9:02 p.m. but it was worth the wait! Mijares was amazing, the show was unbelievable...
Great sound. It did sound like you were playing their CD. I would recommend everyone to watch the show.
Mijares sings as good as always, he did all the songs I remembered plus few extras. People were singing along the whole concert, from young to old, ladies and guys had a blast. The venue was great as well, easy access in and out. Loved it!
He is one of the best Mexican singers. Great show. Great sound, voice , musicians. I absolutely loved it and would go again. He was worth every penny.
Show is no Bueno, Mijares has a great repertoire and he signs covers? he had no movement on stage and no energy, he needs to get in shape and not be lazy.
Arrived at the ticket time. Waited 90 minutes until the concert started. Mijares was fine, but he didn't even sing many songs. The wait was longer than the concert itself: 80 minutes after the concert started, we were all leaving. Felt disappointed that I paid as much as I did (in the rafters!) for an experience that left me wanting. The theater (Aztec Theater) was nice, but not many handrails in the area I was seated in spite of the steep steps. But the employees at the theater were the best! Can't put into words how kind, friendly, and accommodating they were/are. I think it's the only thing about the experience I walked away feeling positive about.
