About

Midnight on Tour

Fans of hardcore metal will love the dark, energetic performance of Midnight. This one-man blackened thrash, speed metal band provides audiences with a sinister twist on the typical intense and powerful lyrics of Athenar.

While typical heavy metal concerts are described as loud and powerful, Midnight has found a way to transcend the sound barrier with their otherworldly music. From the first song to the last, the energy created at a Midnight live show is ever-lasting and will leave fans craving more.

However, Midnight would not have the cult following it currently does without frontman Athenar. The architect of the grunge, dark metal band takes the stage with one purpose -- to take every fan's soul on a vigorous and feverish ride filled with heavily distorted guitar riffs and aggressive vocals.

Don't miss your opportunity to experience Midnight live. Get tickets to catch them on tour when they come to a city near you.

Midnight Live in Concert

Midnight was founded in 2003 from the depths of the twisted mind of frontman Athenar. What originally started as a way for Athenar to release a limited amount of EPs and splits quickly developed into a growing cult following. The band built a ravenous fanbase in the underground metal and punk scene.

However, in 2011 Midnight broke away from their underground roots with the debut album Satanic Royalty. While it was an immediate success with their current fanbase, it also drew attention from others who hadn't heard of the band yet.

Midnight quickly grew even more popular underground with follow-up albums, 2014's No Mercy for Mayhem and 2017's Sweet Death and Ecstasy -- each even more dark and twisted than the last.

While the band still enjoys underground success and is seen as a leader in the heavy metal rock community, Athenar has different ideas for Midnight.

After his recent release of the band's fifth album, 2022's Let There Be Witchery, Athenar explained that he enjoys creating loud, nasty music that pushes the limits. If he has it his way, he'll be out there onstage at 77 years old, giving the fans a performance of a lifetime.
