    Still got it

by Brotzeria on 7/4/22The Theater at MGM National Harbor - National Harbor

First time at the MGM and really liked the venue. Concessions were top notch with great service and a wide variety of beers and mixed drinks. Midnight Oil still has great intensity combined with amazing musicianship. The material from the new album was enticing; am likely to buy it after the performance. The opening act was a bit incongruous. A bit mellow for my taste given MO’s style. Great voice but her lyrics could use some work. Overall a great night out!

    A Fond Farewell

by Chris C on 6/29/22The Theater at MGM National Harbor - National Harbor

The Oils were excellent as usual. Peter and the gang gave another high-energy, political fueled performance. Easily one of the greatest live acts ever! So glad I saw their final show ever here in the States. They will be sorely missed but never forgotten.

Loved it all. Great venue and acoustics! High energy. Stayed true to his beliefs, and the lyrics of the last 40 years still ring true today! Bucket list for sure!!

    Beds Are On Fire!

by Djinni on 6/28/22The Theater at MGM National Harbor - National Harbor

What a wonderful facility! The opening act made the headliners start an hour later than most wanted. What a Treat! Midnight Oil began with four songs off of their latest release, Resist, then put the pedal to the metal! Show stopper after show stopper… non-stop for nearly two hours and twenty minutes… including three encores… What a way to go out on their final tour! Playing so very many of their vast arsenal of catchy and exhilarating ditties, Lol! Power extraordinaire!!! Dynamic to say the very least… So very sad to say “adieu”! The world has been a much better place with the Oils casting their live spells on the faithful, young and old… fans old and new! These Shall Not Be Forgotten Years!!!

I am so blessed I saw Midnight Oil. Tone monsters. Sound was fantastic. The band really gave it all and then some. Thank you for your music. One of the best concerts I ever saw in my life.

    Incredible show

by dave thunder on 6/28/22The Theater at MGM National Harbor - National Harbor

I am blessed that I got to see Midnight Oil. They tore their hearts out and knocked them dead. The sound was fantastic. tone monsters. I can't get their music out of my head 4 days later. Midnight Oil is one of the few bands that made it thru the radio play list just because they are great. This is the end of an era.

    Philly and MD

    by J. F. on 6/26/22

Both shows were Rock ‘n’ Roll at its finest. The Oils are in my top five list of rock bands along with The Moody Blues, U2, The Pixies, and The Connells. The show in MD had the same energy as it did in May 1990 at the Norfolk Scope. I was very happy to meet the band in Philly with pictures and autographs of my Diesel and Dust sleeve. While I hoped the boys would have played “Bring on the Change”, “I Won’t Back Down” was very sentimental for me because there are several groups who I never got to see in concert, and Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers was one of those people. The song itself is extremely powerful and was very personal to Tom but can be applied to everyone. When Clem handed me a drum stick after the final show in MD that was a great ending to a show. I felt like a “rock ‘n’ roll star!” All who watched “will remember” this show. Long live Midnight Oil.
