The September 2019 performance movie themes to classics was excellent! The mandolin player was wonderful and the orchestra beautifully performed the Olympian Symphony No. 7. I particularly enjoyed watching the violinists. It's truly a wonderful orchestra. Thank you!
I was in heaven listening to the symphony. When I lived in the suburbs outside DC, my family were frequent visitors to the symphony downtown. I have been starved for this kind of relaxation, culture and enjoyment. I brought my sister as a thank you gift, and she felt he same. Thank you for such an enjoyable evening.
Until now I have been blessed to live in major cities with great cultural offerings, so I had modest expectations for my first experience with the Mid-Atlantic Symphony. I loved the works performed, but was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the orchestra, chorus, soloists and conductor. I plan to attend their future performances and will do whatever I can to help fill the empty seats I saw in the Ocean City Performing Arts Center.
The symphony was wonderful. But, they had two choruses with them jammed in the back who could not be heard. What a shame.
Every year the concerts get better and better. Always a wonderful time.
