    Awesome!

by J. on 12/3/19172 at Rio Las Vegas - Las Vegas

I fell in love with my husband many years ago listening to Michael Henderson on the radio. Seeing him in person after all of these years was awesome! My husband and I both a agree that Michael still has an extraordinary voice and classic style about him. Great show; we highly recommend seeing for ole school flavor.

Michael Henderson! Valerie Simpson! Norman Connors

by DaUnit on 7/21/16Mable House Barnes Amphitheater - Mableton

PHENOMENAL CONCERT! We had a really GREAT TIME with these legends! Great outdoor concert, perfect kick-off of our long 4th of July weekend! DJ opened up and got everyone up ( we were already festive!!) 87.7 old school personality came on! We laughed and Norman Connors landed "The Starship" but then Michael Henderson took over the controls!! The duets with his backing singers were nothing short of FABULOUS with his deep voice balanced by these smooth sensual vocalists! THEY WERE SO ON POINT! The horn section was an extra added treat, unexpected... THE ENTIRE MH BAND was EXCELLENT! The MH rhythm section held the groove especially on the song, "Valentine Love" a steppers favorite and when MH segued into "Wide Receiver" it was nothin' but a party, perfect for Valerie Simpson (who I hadn't seen in Atlanta since Ashford & Simpson performed last) she kept the party goin' and with her immense catalog, didn't slow down until the segment of the show where she pays a touching/beautiful tribute to former partner / life partner (RIP) Nick Ashford. Valerie kicked it up again closing the show with ANOTHER one of my faves, a song she and Husband Nick wrote, made famous by Chaka Khan then Whitney Houston, "I'M EVERY WOMAN!" Needless to say the Atlanta crowd was up and at 'em!! If you have the opportunity to see ANY ONE of these MUSIC VETERANS/ICONS, you should not miss...

The explosion that wasn't an explosion

by Anonymous on 10/20/15Music Hall Center - Detroit

Horrible show, Ronnie Laws was the highlight and he only did two songs. This was easily one of the worst concerts I ever attended.

by gregorythebombdigady on 10/20/15Music Hall Center - Detroit

It was horrible we missed Norman Connors but we saw Michael Henderson and Ronnie Laws Michael sucked he cant sing anymore that's why he kept taking the mike away from him and Ronnie Laws was ok but his sound system was terrible for his instruments very unprofessional show overall. I was playing candy crush on my phone. I wish I could get my $148 back or at least some of it or complimentary tickets.
