Max and Iggor Cavalera on Tour

The head-banging, heavy metal legends Max and Iggor Cavalera are back together and performing hits from their classic records. The co-founders of Sepultura are set to commence their fall 2022 Max and Iggor Cavalera Return: Beneath Arise tour. This tour is making stops across the United States and will feature tracks from Sepultura's iconic albums Beneath the Remains (1989) and Arise (1991). The Max and Iggor Cavalera Return: Beneath Arise tour will be the first time the dynamic duo have performed together since their Return to Roots tour in 2017. Known for being pioneers in the heavy/death metal scene, Max and Iggor Cavalera's performances are filled with the same intensity, voracity and technical skill as they were when Beneath the Remains and Arise debuted.

Max and Iggor Cavalera Live in Concert

Formed by brothers Max Cavalera (vocals/guitar) and Iggor Cavalera (drums) in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, in the mid '80s, Sepultura became the most successful heavy metal band in Brazilian history. Although no longer apart of Sepultura, Max and Iggor Cavalera have continued to make music through different channels. Max Cavalera left the group in 1996 for personal reasons, and Iggor Cavalera left in 2006 due to artistic differences. Since their departure from Sepultura, Max has been a part of the bands Soulfly, Nailbomb, Cavalera Conspiracy, and Killer Be Killed, while Iggor has created music with Cavalera Conspiracy, Nailbomb and as one-half of the DJ duo, Mixhell. The Cavalera brothers formed Cavalera Conspiracy in 2007, shortly after the departure of Iggor from Sepultura. Cavalera Conspiracy created four heavy metal albums; Inflikted (2007), Blunt Force Trauma (2011), Pandemonium (2014), and Psychosis (2017). The Cavalera brothers remain at the cultural forefront of the heavy metal scene with Nailbomb and Cavalera Conspiracy both maintaining more than 95,000 monthly listeners on Spotify as well as their former band, Sepultura, with more than 1.3 million monthly listeners on the streaming service.
