Malaa on Tour

Donning a balaclava, Parisian electronic music producer Malaa has captured the attention of many electro music fans not only for his music, but the mystery shrouded around him. Since the mid-2010s, Malaa has been performing and producing bass-thumping, attention-grabbing electronic songs and remixes that continue to gain popularity. Following the release of his 2022 debut album, Don Malaa, Malaa commenced his 2022 tour across the entire United States. Malaa's style tends to features homogenous bass, grimey but suitable lyrics with impossible to ignore and expressive percussion. The balaclava-bearing artist peaked the interest of some back in 2015 when he released his debut single "Pregnant" under the Fool's Gold Records label. Shortly thereafter, Malaa would storm onto the electronic music scene with the release of "Notorious" on fellow French music producer Tchami's label Confessions. Malaa is credited with a number of remixes and singles from 2015 up to today. His September 2022 album entitled Don Malaa includes 14 tracks and the most popular thus far is a song titled "Deep" featuring DJ Snake and Yung Felix.

Malaa Live in Concert

Since Malaa never removes his balaclava while being viewed by the public, "who is Malaa?" is a question on the minds of many house music fans. The artist, or potentially group of artists, behind Malaa has remained relatively diligent at hiding their true identity. However, Malaa has dropped hints here and there via social media regarding his true identity and there has been much speculation that Malaa may be the balaclava-covered face that is the collection of combined works between notable artists that include DJ Snake, Tchami and Mercer. Malaa is known as a French DJ due to their participation in the Pardon My French collective, which is a French group of DJs consisting of the aforementioned electronic musicians. No stranger to large crowds, Malaa has performed at a number of music festivals, including Ultra Music Festival, Creamfields, Breakaway, Moonrise, Holy Ship!, HARD Summer, Spring Awakening, and Electric Daisy Carnival. On Spotify, Malaa boasts more than 1.7 million monthly listeners with his most popular tracks being "Notorious" with over 42 million streams and "Made in France" with more than 22 million streams.

    Great artist bad venue

by Bottomfeeder on 11/12/22Big Night Live - Boston

Big night live is a college event bar. No issue there. That’s my Ish. What I don’t like is they over sell the place every time I attend a show and for the first time there were guys throwing drinks and ice and stuff from the table section. Me and another patron tried to complain. It’s $40 a person to get in there. These aren’t celebrities. We watched the security give him props and walk away. Proceeded to throw ice at my wife. Loved the show. Not happy with the venue Or the staff.

    This was insane

by BLOODBONE on 11/10/22Big Night Live - Boston

From Capozzi setting the vibes to Hotel keeping the energy going it was a great startout. Throughout Hotel Garuda's set he starting playing some hardstyle for a few songs which wasn't my vibe, had to leave the area to the bar for awhile but then he brought back the house and Malaa started his set. The experience was incredible from visuals to the audio the club set up his performance perfectly. Malaa always delivers and I'm glad I got to see him in Boston!

    Parking isn’t ideal

by Joce on 11/7/22Echostage - Washington

We paid $35 for parking and they weren’t the nicest. Venue is nice drinks are like $12-15 a pop. Headliner came on at midnight so that wasn’t for seen. But performance was amazing, with lights and great fog machines.

It was good but could be better

by Harry on 10/12/22Théâtre Corona - Montreal

The concert was really good, but the only drawback was that the end time wasn't mentioned while purchasing the tickets, because of which we thought the event will end at 3am like very other event but it ended at 1am. It would've been better if both start and end times were mentioned.
