About

Madonna launched her debut tour in 1985 — The Virgin Tour — in the United States and Canada. Shortly thereafter, she toured the world for the first time, embarking in 1987 in support of Who's That Girl. Over the ensuing four decades, Madonna would ignite the world with the most controversial and dynamic pop shows ever mounted, selling out nearly every tour — in its entirety — in seconds. To date, Madonna has performed about 700 shows across 11 concert tours, generating over $1 billion in ticket sales, and is the highest-grossing female touring artist of all time.

    This show was HOT (literally)

by Dave on 4/19/24Moody Center ATX - Austin

Madonna puts on a great show, but she doesn’t make it easy on her audience. The venue temp felt like it was set at about 80 degrees. I did see a disclaimer after I had gotten to the show that stated per Madonna’s request the venue will be a bit warm. Luckily I happened to wear shorts. Also the show didn’t start til 10:30. I decided to leave at 12:30 and there was still about 4 more songs left in her set. Overall, I enjoyed it, but it could have been so much more enjoyable.

At 65 Madge still got it!

by Honger on 4/19/24Moody Center ATX - Austin

It was her last show in NA. One of her best performances! As always such a great show. It was stinking hot in Moody Stadium, Austin. I was hot in a tank top. Madonna’s in leather singing & dancing. The ultimate professional & such a trooper. She was probably dying but it didn’t show in her performance.

    A Celebration!

by Tommy on 4/18/24Moody Center ATX - Austin

So much fun! The show was amazing as to be expected. Madonna sounded great and sang so many hits. Her fans are FANATICAL and everyone I saw was having the best time. Yes it was late as usual and hot, but so what? Totally worth it to watch one of the all time greatest entertainers live.

Damn! This diva is one sexy senior citizen!

by Johnny Oh! on 4/18/24Moody Center ATX - Austin

Finally saw Madonna (Louise Ciccone) live in concert last night at the Moody Center in Austin, some 40 years after she burst on to the music scene *way back* when I was in college. Never let it be said that a 65 year-old woman can't still be sexy and seductive! I was glad to know in advance that she typically doesn't hit the stage until about 2 hours after the publicized start time. Also, the Moody Center was a veritable sweat lodge, as she knows well that AC keeps her vocals from being at their peak. But when she finally made her grand entrance, after a rousing introduction by Bob the Drag Queen, she kept us all absolutely mesmerized for nearly the next 2.5 hours. You definitely get your money's worth at a Madonna concert! Such a spectacle! It was as much superbly designed and choreographed performance art as it was a thorough retrospective of her peerless 40-year chain of chart-topping hits. One line she delivered that really stuck with me (and I'm paraphrasing here) was "The most scandalous thing I've ever done has been to stick around (on the music scene) for all this time!" Hoping to see her in concert again when she turns 80! Maybe she can be this generation's Mae West?!

Amazing show, venue not so amazing

by Lily on 4/18/24Moody Center ATX - Austin

The show was amazing, the venue was not good enough, no air conditioner working at any time, the show was not totally visible at the highest locations.

    sound was awful

by jf on 4/18/24Moody Center ATX - Austin

I can deal with the late start, the heat, and the diva like attitude, but the terrible sound was disappointing and quite frankly awful for someone of her stature.

Two hours late on a Monday night! Really?!

by Stacey on 4/18/24Moody Center ATX - Austin

I have been a fan for 30 plus years. The change in date was acceptable. But starting TWO hours late on a Monday, when normal people have to work on Tuesday, NOT good! No real pre show entertainment. Just waiting. And it was ridiculously hot. Had to leave way early due to the late hour an uncomfortable temp. Epic fail!
