Though Luh Kel released his debut album while still in high school in his hometown of St. Louis, the rising R&B artist got his start in music even earlier. The performer otherwise known as Turran Coleman showed his love for singing as a toddler. By his early teens, he was singing in competitions and polishing his skills as a member of the R&B group ProjecX.

A TikTok challenge for "Wrong" made the 16-year-old a sensation, leading to a deal with Cinematic Music Group.
