    Ethel is a MUST SEE!

by Montielle on 3/31/14Schoenberg Hall - UCLA - Los Angeles

The quartet Ethel is simply amazing. Each time I see them they're popping strings. They play with their hearts not their hands. Not matter what type of music you enjoy, you will be absolutely fascinated by each note you hear them play.

    Amazing Performance

by Mocasin on 5/20/13Jo Long Theatre - San Antonio

I took my wife to see Ethel with Robert Mirabel and, although very famiiar with Roberts music we had never heard Ethel playing. We were not disappointed and very pleased we came to San Antonio for our anniversary and to see the show.

Ethel is not to be missed!

by Nazznazz on 10/28/12Clowes Memorial Hall - Indianapolis

Ethel never disappoint, incredible musicianship and always entertaining. This time with special guest Todd Rundgren their exploration of sounds of the 70's was truly amazing. From the more classical pieces from 70's composers to the "classic" Kashmir, Ethel rocked, their set alone worth the price of admission. But then add a set by Todd and then a third set of the two combined and a most memorable evening indeed. Ethel's arrangements of some Rundgren classics gave him renewed vigor in performing the chestnuts, plus several surprises reworking newer material from the "Arena" cd and beyond gave a whole new perspective. You had to love hearing material from the 40 year old Something/Anything?, but the real standout was material from A Wizard A True Star. Truly a magic evening, and one that I hope will be continued in the future. Also hoping for some kind of official release from this tour, the music was that special. Thanks Todd & Ethel!!!!!
