Church Basement Ladies: a Mighty Fortress Is Our Basement Tickets

Such a fun cast and story line! Our group of four totally enjoyed it!!

The Church Basement Ladies are a very talented, silly group that will leave you laughing for days - LOVED IT!!!!

I've seen many Church Basement Ladies shows, this was very good and funny. The crowd was dead, sad to say. I would have liked to know that the original Mrs. Snusted was who I really wanted to see, and there was an understudy. Very disappointed!!!

The church basement crew is always funny! Probably more hilarious if you are Lutheran or grew up Lutheran. It is a fantastic show!

We thoroughly enjoyed this performance. It brings you back to your childhood in the most perfect way. You can’t take your eyes off most of the characters because they are hilarious with their expressions. We would highly recommend this show.

Ames Center is a great venue. The staff are all friendly, courteous and helpful. The show was in the small intimate theater so you feel like you right there in the basement with the ladies. The show is well done and very, very funny.

I found it to be very boring. I will not go to another one

It was fun to enjoy and laugh at simple humor! It was ironic and poor planning to hold this type of performance during Holy Week when the type of audience who would enjoy the play was preparing for services. That thought added to the humor of the play. It was a fun day.

My friend and I really enjoyed this production. In the very early portion of the show, I felt the acting was a little stilted. However, as it went on, the actors appeared to get into their rolls and did a great job. The play itself is great and really reminiscent of those days so long ago. Very entertaining in a gentle and wholesome way.
