Grate show. These guys don’t come east often enough!
The band was on fire and playing well. I strongly urge anyone that hasn't yet seen this band to make it a priority!
very anemic music playing. Played so slow that it took several bars into the songs until we could identify the song
The Canyon Club in Agoura Hills, CA is an excellent venue to see a show. Choice of seating, a dance floor, and ample bar space to get a drink. We ordered food at our table prior to the main act which was decent for bar food. Nice sound system. All in all - a small, intimate place to see a show. Live Dead 69 played a nice selection of New Riders of the Purple Sage and Grateful Dead tunes. Some songs sounded great, others they seemed to struggle on a bit. Almost seemed they had not practiced a whole lot. Overall - we had a great time.
Any of the members of The Grateful Dead will play as long as they are able. For whatever their motivations, they provide us with the opportunity to relive moments from long ago and to experience new moments shared with a younger generation of fans.
Excellent show. Crazy Fingers led and played great. I went to see local boy Slick play guitar. One of the best guitarists around, he did not disappoint.
