Lastlings are proud to perform their acclaimed debut album 'First Contact' in Queensland for the first time this year.

This special album launch follows on from Lastlings' sold out 2019 'I've Got You' Australian shows, as well as touring the globe with pals RÜFÜS DU SOL & triumphant performances at Coachella & Splendour In The Grass.

'First Contact' is a transcendental moment, three years in the making for Josh & Amy Dowdle. It’s an auspicious first glimpse into the universe, as built and told by the enigmatic sibling duo, and a promise of what’s yet to come. The album features 2020's triple j adored singles 'No Time' and 'Take My Hand', as well as fan favourites 'Deja Vu' & 'I've Got You'.

    WHAT A SHOW!

    WOW! Opener was Running Touch, and the energy was insane. Him and his drummer are extremely talented and put on an amazing show! Matching energy and even getting the crowd going the Lastlings were incredible and are so talented live! Makes the late night worth it. Even thought the show started at 10pm (lastlings 11pm) I would do it all again! Also got to meet Running Touch and the Brother in Lastlings! Incredible and handsome talented men! Sad we couldn't meet Amy but Understand she needs to save her voice.

    That was single handily one of the best shows I ever been to in my 32 yrs of life. The vibes, the crowd, the production, everything was absolutely perfect and by god you have to hear this duo live. You haven’t truly felt the music like you do with these two until you hear it live for yourself. They’ve been on my bucket list since 2015 and I’m so happy I finally got to see them do their thing and feel the music in the way I did.

    Love their sound! I’m so happy Rufus signed them to their label. Her voice is intoxicating. I’ve become a huge fan. Can’t wait for them to return to the US.

    The show was great. The only thing that could’ve been done differently to make it better was turning down the bass. Most of the show it was drowning out the vocals. That’s the min reason I went was to hear her song love.
