Lansing Lugnuts Tickets

The Lansing Lugnuts are a Minor League Baseball team that plays in the Midwest League. The team's colors are red and silver, and their mascot is a friendly nut named Big Lug. Since 2021, the Lugnuts have served as the farm team for the Oakland Athletics of Major League Baseball. The Lugnuts were previously affiliated with the Blue Jays, Cubs, Royals, Padres, Guardians and Red Sox.

The Lugnuts play their home games at Jackson Field, which is located in Lansing, Michigan. The stadium has a seating capacity of around 7,500, with the ability to accommodate an additional 2,000 fans with standing-room and lawn and patio seating. Opened in 1996, Jackson Field is known for being one of the most handicapped accessible stadiums in the country.

Over the years, the Lugnuts have achieved several notable successes. In their inaugural season in 1997, they won the Midwest League Championship. They went on to win the championship again in 2003. The franchise has also had several notable players pass through its ranks, including future major leaguers Carlos Beltrán, Mark Prior, and Marcus Stroman.

One of the Lugnuts' most exciting annual events is the Crosstown Showdown, an exhibition game against nearby Michigan State University. The game draws a large crowd of students and has been played every year since 2007.
