I wear hearing aids and used the loop service. In most Broadway theaters I am able to hear almost perfectly, but I was unable to understand most of the spoken parts of the show.
This was a fabulous concert with Kristin at her best and so many wonderful guest stars to perform with her and alone. Loved the entire performance! (Sunday 11/17 7pm)
Fabulous !!! Wonderful!!! Wish I could do this more often.
Kristin’s show was nothing short of spectacular. From her orchestra to her sidekick singers, to guest performer Mario Cantone, the entire show was a wow. And Kristin? Adorable, funny, heartwarming, and a phenomenal singer who always delivers. If you ever get a chance to see her, you are in for a treat!
Kristin Chenoweth delivered another magnificent performance! Loved it!
Excellent show, wonderful talent and a very enjoyable evening!!!
Krisitin Chenowith was fantastic, which is no surprise. Was struck by how many talented performers she chose to share the spotlight with. All of them were wonderful, so it's hard to pick the highlights. Great opening number, "You Don'tOwn Me", in full girl group mode. Kimberly Locke's duet with her from "Wicked", brought tears to my eyes, and Locke's solo performance of Shirley Bassey's "This is My Life" was spine tingling. Loved the routine with Chenowith's choreographer, Tyler Hanes. Loved her anecdote about Dolly Parton, and think that they both use their personas to best comic effect, Dolly as trashy, Kristin as a self absorbed diva, because they are each actually the opposite of those personas. Could go on, but just a wonderful evening.
She covered songs on the album, songs that didn't make the album, her greatest hits, and had amazing guests. Always generous to the audience, her fans, and to her costars. We saw two people make their Broadway debut!
Kristin is the ultimate entertainer, and her backup singers, musicians, and guest singers were all amazing!!!!!! Kristin is funny, talented, and has such a warm heart! Congratulations to Marissa Rosen in her Broadway Debut!!
