    First time seeing Korpiklaani

by DesignYourUniverse on 11/3/18Brighton Music Hall - Boston

The show was amazing. It was my third time seeing Arkona and they always do an outstanding job. Korpiklaani was awesome! I've listened to them before but have never had an opportunity to see them live and I definitely would again.

    almost perfect

by EleanorLee on 9/1/12The Opera House - Toronto

Amazing. Wasn't a Korpiklaani show, per say - was definitely Metsatöll, Týr, Moonsorrow, Korpiklaani show. Felt pretty equilateral. Not much down time between sets. Metsatöll need more recognition - Lauri's turn on the pipes was astounding. Týr know how to work up a crowd just by standing still. Thought Ville was going to jump into the audience and kill someone at a few points. Kuolleiden Maa brought the house down. Jonne Järvelä was very drunk through his entire set, forgot a lot of words, repeated verses - but he puts on such a great show that you don't care. Tuomas fiddles like a demon. Sound system was pretty sketchy, but that's par for the course at the Opera House. Crowd was excellent and filled with good people - I'm a 5'1 woman, was there by myself, and I didn't feel in any danger. cash bar on the lower level was annoying. Is it really too much trouble to get a card reader down there? The bands worked around the awful sound system best they could, but honestly Moonsorrow sounded the best because you couldn't hear clean vocals. Týr hung out at the bar between sets and bought people drinks. Nice people.

    best damn show

by dickfer on 12/21/11Masquerade - Atlanta

Awesome show! The guy next to me had on war paint and was drinking beer from a horn. That sums up the crowd pretty well. I haven't felt such a unified crowd in ages. Can't wait until next time. Beer Beer!

    Happy Little Boozer

by Wyvern on 12/19/11Masquerade - Atlanta

Korpiklaani played an amazing set, but Arkona might have stolen the show. I'm looking forward to seeing them again with Paganfest 2012.

    What A Show!!!

by Humpster on 12/16/11Masquerade - Atlanta

Was glad to witness this wild and crazy clan of rockers for the 2nd time on this, their second visit , to North America. The show was no less incredible than last year's. In 40 years as a rocker I have never seen such an enthusiastic band on stage (non-stop party from beginning to end). Not only are these forefathers "Humppa" Metal extremely talented musicians, but they also come across as a really nice bunch of guys with lots of audience interaction and you can't help but tell that they really love what they do . . . and I love what they're doing!! Can't wait for a new Album in 2012 and I'll definitely catch them in the states next time around

by Justaleaf on 12/16/11Alrosa Villa - Columbus

Amazing performances by all bands at the show, specifically Korpiklaani and Arkona. A wonderful night! The sound system was good, the venue was comfortable to be in... no complaints! The bands were very friendly and let us take pictures with them afterwards. Thanks guys!
