KID ROCK IN CONCERT:
There are mere performers, and then there's Kid Rock. Primarily known for his bad boy image and rap-rock stylings, the veteran performer often surprises new fans with his unexpected musicianship in concert. Having expanded his repertoire to include gospel and soul with 2012's Rebel Soul, he now treats fans to a more dynamic show than ever, and his upcoming tour dates are sure to be no exception.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Growing up in suburban Detroit, Kid Rock was interested in rap and breakdancing from an early age, joining a crew and teaching himself to DJ in his teens. As a hip hop performer, he released five albums between 1990 and 1997 before signing with Atlantic Records in 1998. He then began fusing rap with rock, becoming one of rap-rock's pioneers with hits like "Bawitdaba" and "Only God Knows Why." Not content to stay within expected boundaries, Rock's follow-up records became more rock, country, and blues-oriented starting with 2001's Cocky and peaking with 2007's Rock n Roll Jesus -- an album that featured the No. 1 single "All Summer Long." A consummate showman with an ever-growing catalog of hits, Kid Rock's continued presence on tour is a cause for celebration among fans both new and old.

by Butterfly on 8/7/23The bands were fabulous and the venue nice. But they seriously ran out of beer?? How does that happen?? They need more beer stations!! Standing in the line for almost an hour?? They lost money more people walking away from the long lines than buying beer.

by Tammy on 8/6/23Great outdoor venue. Tons of bathrooms was a bonus. Prices were high inside the venue. $6.00 for a bottle of water was stupid. Security could have done a better job, but worked at keeping exit ways clear.

And would like to be notified of more music concerts I took my grandson to his first concert

by Melissa on 8/4/23What I could see was an awesome concert. We paid over $450 for two tickets and had seventh row from the stage (gc section 4)and we couldn't see half the stage. Couldn't see the drummer, the jumbotron or the dancers. WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO THAT VENUE!!!

by sarra on 8/3/23Kid Rock is a great time! He is a great performer and plays new stuff along with the old hits that we all love to hear! He definetely attracts a large range of ages we noticed. There were people there that were 20 years old, 50 years old and we even seen a lady that looked like she was about 80 at least! Obviously, Kid Rock music has no age limits!

by lil’ one on 8/2/23My first live Kid Rock concert and I was dancing and singing all night!!!! Such a great performer with endless talent!!! Thank you Kid for your gifts to us!!! As for the venue, completely a disappointment. The workers were rude, the vendors were outrageously expensive, and the portable potties were set up in an area with no outdoor lighting at all. Pitch black inside one of those things! Wean Park is not a venue for this caliber in my opinion.

by Lips on 8/2/23Kid Rock was amazing. Security was terrible. Paid $600.00 per seat and through the entire concert non paying people invaded our section. Security had no control. The venue needs better planning and control.

by Turnemloose on 8/2/23Was disappointed in venue , was supposed to be at the amphitheater but was just in a huge grass , flat , field - seems someone got greedy and decided to sell as many tickets as the could and just jammed everybody in a huge field.

by J. L. on 8/2/23I purchased front row seats and traveled to Ohio thinking that I would have great seats. Kid Rock is awesome but my front row seats were so far from the view of the stage that we were unable to see the show. Very disappointed at the misleading venue from ticket Master for those expensive hard earned money seats!

by Cheddar on 8/2/23Kid Rock was AWESOME. I have seen him over 20 times easily, and he always puts on an amazing show. He gets 5 stars! My review is of this venue. I also attended Luke Bryan last year. The venue still needs some changes. The lines are absolutely horrendous. The bathrooms are such a cluster. There needs to be more, and in more than the one location. The lines for everything were ridiculous. Merchandise, food.....we would have spent so much more money if we didn't have the lines to wait in. Both years we had entrance to the venue on the far left, but the entrance for lawn, horrible. I don't know what can be changed, but I hope something can be done prior to next year.

by Barnsie on 8/2/23Make sure to hit the bathrooms before you walk up on the venue, only one Porta potty outside. Also, make sure to download your tix ahead of time as there was no signal at the venue. Had to walk two blocks back to cat h a signal. Lastly, plenty of pota pottys inside but the arrangement was awful. No crowd flow or direction. Now, that being said. We did all have a great time and enjoyed Kid Rock, he never disappoints.
