Khalid Concert Schedule
Hailed as one of the voices of the millennial generation, Khalid found fame virtually overnight with a blend of melancholic R&B, smooth synth-pop and relatable tales of 21st-century teenage life. In stark contrast to his famously languid vocal delivery, the singer-songwriter is a magnetic force on stage, whether he's jumping around with American flag-themed cheerleaders, revealing the stories behind the songs or inspiring the crowd to sing along to every word. He first hit the road in 2017 with the 21-city Location trek before announcing a more expansive American Teen tour that allowed both his North American and European fans to soak up the Khalid live experience.
Khalid Background
Born in Beirut, Lebanon, in 1998, Khalid Amhearst Robinson constantly moved around as a child due to his mother's military career, spending time in the Middle East, New York and Germany before settling in El Paso, Texas, in his mid-teens. Inspired by the sounds of '90s R&B and contemporary artists as eclectic as Alt-J, Frank Ocean and Father John Misty, Khalid began making music shortly after. Produced by Syk Sense, Tunji Ige and Smash David, the 2016 debut single "Location" immediately put him on the map, with high-profile support from the likes of Rolling Stone, Billboard and BuzzFeed helping it to reach No. 16 on the US Hot 100 and amass over 35 million plays on Spotify. Khalid's 2017 debut album, American Teen, further positioned him as an important new voice, peaking at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and spawning another Top 40 hit, "Young, Dumb and Broke." Khalid subsequently became an in-demand guest artist, with Logic ("1-800-273-8255"), Calvin Harris ("Rollin'"), Marshmello ("Silence") and Lorde ("Homemade Dynamite") all utilizing his rich, soulful croon to hit-making effect. Khalid also toured with Lorde in 2017, appeared at various festivals including SXSW, SnowGlobe and iHeartRadio Music Festival, made his TV debut on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and was crowned Best New Artist at the MTV Video Music Awards. In the short space of a year, he also gained 1.5 million followers on Twitter and Instagram.

First time seeing Khalid live; you can tell he's still refining his chops as far as stage presence; sound was tight, but as a purist I question the use of backing tracks when he could have amazing musicians to back him up. He did have guitar, drums, and two keys/bass which were very good however getting mixed into backing tracks at this level. The opening act needs to remember performance is about emotion, energy - looked like she was doing an audition for American Idol.
Great performance overall, seats were fine venue was nice. khalid is such a genuine person i love him so much!!
Love! Love! Love! Everything about this concert was amazing! From start to finish!
Show was over the top amazing. Loved it. Each song was like a music video
Concert was amazing. I never received my CD though
I love everything that i saw. The best singer . Great performance.
Amazing talent but to be honest the sheer number of kids and high schoolers was unexpected. I purchased floor tickets and quickly realized I should’ve just opted for closer seats that didn’t force me to stand in a sea of youngin’s. Otherwise no complaints, Khalid is very good live, especially considering how young and early in his career he is.
From the Amway center to the concert, everything was amazing. Khalid was an AMAZING performer and had really cool effects that kept everyone interested and entertained the whole time. I’ve seen quite a few artists in concerts and his was definitely one of my favorites!
i was on the floor in the pit, & it was so amazing!! khalid puts on an incredible show! highly recommend :)
Bought the tickets for my girlfriend’s birthday. Good price, great seats and the ticket master app was very useful on my apple device. Khalid went above our expectations. Great show
I enjoyed the Khalid concert at State Farm Arena on 8/14. It was everything that I had hoped it would be. My friend and I went. Other than the parking which was a little far away, the seats were amazing and the show itself was incredible. I never realized that the row we chose had bar top seats. Those are always the best. I honestly cannot wait to go back for another concert afterwards. After leaving the concert, I still cannot stop listening to Khalid's new album. Definitely one of the best concerts I've attended in the last year.
My girls and I really enjoyed the concert. Khalid’s voice is so beautiful.
awesome vocalist and sang many from his albums. Very inspirational.
he was so engaging with the audience and such a good performer!! his songs he played were amazing and his talent is amazingggg!!! - khalid if you see this i 💗 u!!
wish he paid more attention to the people at the top :/
Khalid was an amazing performer. I would definitely see him over and over again. The only reason why I did not give this event 5 stars is because of the audio and how it was done at the concert. Not all of us have hundreds to shell out at an event and we have to get the seats that are up higher (no big deal), but at times it was hard to hear his singing. Other than that, it was pretty dang good. PS, Khalid seems like a great person and chill as hell.
This was one of the best concerts I’ve been to besides Justin Timberlake. My boyfriend and I got floor seats and got super close but I would definitely not recommend if your short because taller people like to stand right in front of you!! I wasn’t expecting that many people to have floor seats but unfortunately I was wrong.
Super interactive with audience along with great vocals!
We enjoyed the concert, my daughter and her friend love Khalid. It was a good time.
