    He was good without his...

by JDN73 on 11/7/10The Music Box - Hollywood

bandmates "Bloc Party". He did a great job holding that concert on his own. I would not mind seeing him again in the future. Kele kicked some good B*TT! Does It Offend You, Yeah? was...AWESUM even though James Rushent was sick. You did not even miseed him. But he is need in the band to play the other songs.

This was my first time at the Music Box and I loved it. The concert was great and we really got to see and hear all the performers up close.

Fantastic support from Does It Offend You, Yeah? Beautiful venue with brilliant acoustics. Nice set list, bonus for playing Bloc Party songs. Flux finale was incredible.

    Kele is pronounced like Kelly

by Natdon on 9/23/10The Music Box - Hollywood

We got there super early. We were the second and third in line. We just had to be at the very front to see Kele. We had seen him in Bloc Party in December 2008 and he was incredible then, and was just as incredible now. One word to describe him: charming. He is a quite the showman and his smile is infectious. I especially liked his smooth dance moves. He even whipped out a couple of Bloc Party songs. Top notch show. I haven't stopped thinking about it.

Does It Offend You, Yeah? -- NO!

by LAIDinUSA on 9/23/10The Music Box - Hollywood

I went to this show just to watch Does It Offend You, Yeah but I was pleasantly surprised with InnerPartySystem's set. They were the absolute right choice for an opening band. Does It Offend You, Yeah played an amazing set even though they were missing their lead singer. They promised to make up for their lack of vocals and they definitely fulfilled that promise. The energy in the room skyrocketed as soon as they hit the stage but it was all over too soon. They played for less than an hour and the crowd immediately started to disperse as soon as they were done. I don't know how many people left the show after that but I can tell you that I was one of them. I kind of felt bad for Kele because even though I didn't catch any of his set I doubt he got the room going as much as DIOYY did.

Does it offend you now? Yeah, rocked!!!!!!! They are amazing live... and they did not even have their singer when they performed. Kele sounded great! He played some of his old hits from Bloc Party and had a really hot keyboard!

    DIOYY/Kele Amazing

by MeB16 on 9/23/10The Music Box - Hollywood

The lead singer of DIOYY wasn't there, which means the band didn't play any of it's pop songs (like Dawn of the Dead)- thus the only 4/5 stars. Nonetheless, they rocked everything they played. I've seen them before and their full set is mind-blowing. I'll still be first in line again at their next tour. Kele was 50 times better than I ever expected him to be (going solo after Bloc Party means HUGE shoes to fill)... I'm happy to jump on that bandwagon! :)

    I am so sore

by Fernando on 9/23/10The Music Box - Hollywood

I couldn't stop moving, the show was so energetic. Innerpartysystem was great, they played all new songs, all of which rocked. Does It Offend You, Yeah? 's lead singer wasn't there because he was sick, which sucked but the band was still able to pull off an awesome show. I couldn't stop jumping through their entire set. Kele, was great, first time seeing him solo, did not disappoint.
