by Marilyn on 11/15/21Orpheum Theatre - Los Angeles

We finally got in later than we should’ve. I didn’t pay $500 per person but I thought with the vip we were able to meet Katie. We really love the program, Katie was great!!

Fun, heartbreaking at times, a pleasure to be there!

    by L. H. on 11/15/21Orpheum Theatre - Los Angeles

First off, great venue! Secondly and foremost, wonderful to hear some of the BTS stories that Katie (and Jennifer) shared with us and to see so many amazing photos. I’m almost through Katie’s book which is well written and is equally enjoyable. Wishing her continued success as a trailblazer! Greatly appreciated her sharing some of the trials and tribulations of her life story like so many of us have to face at all levels in our lives. Bravo!

    Only OK

by Jaycee on 11/14/21Beacon Theatre - New York

Usually love the Beacon, but for this event, it was so cold! Just uncomfortable the entire time. Fun to see Katie love, after years as a fan, but the event itself, only OK. If you've read the book, probably didn't need to do this as well. She had one guest that made sense, but the two women from SNL were a complete disconnect for me. Don't know why they were there, other than to fill the bill/eat time. Paid a lot of money for the tickets - not sure I really feel like I got my money's worth, sadly.

    We’ll worth a 4 hour drive

by The Grand on 11/13/21Atlanta Symphony Hall - Atlanta

Katie was intelligent, engaging, informative, and charming. She added to her terrific book and expanded in the thoughts and anecdotes presented. I especially liked her guest Aimee as it was a story I was not familiar with. Such courage! I wish she had included a bit more about her incredibly successful daughters. They are a true testament to her fortitude.,

by Pookie on 11/11/21Atlanta Symphony Hall - Atlanta

As always the staff from parking to docents are always a pleasure. Always spotless and no matter where you sit... a clear view. Thanks Katie and Symphony Hall for a much needed upbeat boost of positive energy. Right message at the right time......

    3 inspirational women

by Donnafrob on 11/11/21Atlanta Symphony Hall - Atlanta

Taking on the men’s club in a tough industry makes Katie’s bio well worth hearing. Adding Amy Copeland and Ina Was icing on the cake!

    Disappointing

    by Jannie on 11/9/21

I was so looking forward to hearing about her favorite experiences or memorable interviews throughout her career in journalism. Instead, she kept saying, "and you can read about that in my book." A book I had already purchased, so there was no need for the plug. Charging people $100+ for a ticket and giving them nothing for it was a bit much. I did not pay to listen to Chance the Rapper speak for 30 minutes. His message was fine, but that is not why I was there. I am a big fan, and yet I feel the tour is not being properly advertised so people know what to expect.

    Very Enjoyable and Entertaining Evening

by Kevin W. on 11/9/21The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed hearing of Katie Couric's "life lessons". And her guest speakers echoed the theme of the evening. The discussions were very thought provoking. A great experience all around!

    katie " book" tour

by jan on 11/9/21The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

VERY POOR presentation booked as a book tour. I was expecting the " inside" stories around her life events. I have been a Katie fan for many years. Was supremely disappointed that there was little original from Katie and her guests were the centerpiece. I would never have bought tickets at the "rock star" prices I paid to be on the front area! Supremely disappointed. it felt like a money grab using her name as a front.

    Awesome

by Jeannie on 11/9/21The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

Went independently by myself with my nice husband dropping me off. The theater all lit up gave me a Christmas type feeling. Katie was grand! Enjoyed the whole experience of reading her book and then traveling from Cincinnati to spend the weekend in the ‘Windy City’.

    Disappointed

by Wendy on 11/9/21The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

The show started 25 minutes late with no apology. It was basically just reading from a promoter right from the book that I already read. Enjoyed listening to Chance and hearing about his work. I absolutely loved the memoir.
